Trailer for the "Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes"!
Set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign, in which apes are the dominant species living harmoniously + humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes + humans alike.
I'm really making my characters suffer in this one... 😳 After writing this scene, I've just considered what I've done to my main characters so far in this story. It's pretty brutal. And this isn't even supposed to be a horror...
I’ve been watching #scavengersreign this week, and wow this is the most fully realized alien world I’ve seen in a long time. Maybe ever on TV? The animation and story are good so far, but I would straight up watch a David Attenborough nature doc of this crazy, brutal ecosystem.

SF: The Japanese Science Fiction Film Encyclopedia
Informed by its disaster-prone history, Japan's science fiction cinema is distinctive. SF covers a wide variety of these films across six decades; from the aftermath of Hiroshima to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pierwsza część siadła mi jak złoto, więc sięgnąłem po "Wir", czyli kontynuację trylogii Ryfterów. 📚
Sweet #Cinema, you vex me. You know I wince at #BodyHorror and still you tempt me with David Cronenberg's #CrimesOfTheFuture , his most recent nightmare. I must admit it repulsed and lured me in the ways that only he can. I felt entrenched as if inside a classic #Scifi novel. Yet I'm not kinky enough for repeat servings... Next up: his son's Infinity Pool.
With its gut-wrenching #SciFi concept, #InfinityPool says more about colonial tourism than the typical #WhiteLotus episode. Though I was left unmoved by its conclusion.
Trying to find more #StarTrek folks to follow. If you see the mention of that hashtag and this post let's meet. I promise I always try to be nice. All Trek is Trek.
I really enjoyed the book. An android with human-like features is nothing new in sci-fi, but I really liked this version. The main character android is very likeable.
Novel is a quick read and plot is quite simple.
Surrounding world is not very widely depicted : there could have been more in-depth information on what kind of future world the story takes place in. On the other hand, when things are briefly explained, the story remains light and nice. I've been a bit tired of overly complicated plot patterns, which in the end stumble over their own feet when the threads are no longer in control.
Chciałem Wam dzisiaj pokazać jedno z moich pierwszych opowiadań, „Muzyka i sól”, opublikowane pierwotnie w krakowskim czasopiśmie „Kontent” w odległym 2017 roku.
Jak pisał recenzent podobno ma w sobie coś z klimatu „Solaris” Lema i „Interstelar” Nolana. Problem jest tylko taki, że i z jednym i drugim zapoznałem się dopiero po napisaniu opowiadania 🤡
‘The argument goes something like this: “I refuse to prove that I exist,” says God, “for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing.”
‘“But,” says Man, “the Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn’t it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don’t. QED.”
Oh look - yet another author who's written a #SciFi novel, but can't bring themselves to admit this.
After all, 'serious' novelists wouldn't dirty themselves with something as vulgar as that, would they? Who'd invite them to cocktail parties? Long live the Posh vs. Tosh false dichotomy.
"#SamanthaHarvey: ‘I like Alien as much as anybody else. But I see this novel as space pastoral’...
