I really enjoyed the book. An android with human-like features is nothing new in sci-fi, but I really liked this version. The main character android is very likeable.

Novel is a quick read and plot is quite simple.
Surrounding world is not very widely depicted : there could have been more in-depth information on what kind of future world the story takes place in. On the other hand, when things are briefly explained, the story remains light and nice. I've been a bit tired of overly complicated plot patterns, which in the end stumble over their own feet when the threads are no longer in control.

trilogy:

The first itself did not convince me. The world was interesting for its own systems, but the story itself and the characters felt a bit empty and cliché.

However, even the first book was enough to make me want to read the next one.
By the middle of the second book, the story and characters became more interesting. Or the suction of the story was already pulling me with it.

The third book went very smoothly right after others. On the end I liked all the characters, even though many of them seemed boring at the beginning. The plot in general took nice different angles as the book series progressed. So, all in all, in the end, I liked the trilogy.
