It’s weird that the headline is “Websites using AI to Undress Women…” and the first line of the article is “Websites that used artificial intelligence (AI) to undress people, especially women…”
That would be because women are usually the targets of these tools. Also there have been some high profile cases related to morphed pictures in India recently, which is where this news publication is from, in which the victims were women.
Apple clearly doesn't care, why should you? Why are you still buying their products? I hope this doesn't come across as harsh, because it is an honest question.
I've never bought an apple product but I've worked at multiple jobs that provided me with a mac so I still want to see improvements in the mac ecosystem.
Also, I'm not a screenreader user but I am a web developer and screenreader users deserve the same experience as typical screen/keyboard/mouse users. Developing for screenreaders sometimes feels like developing for browsers use to be with inconsistencies and unimplemented standards. For browsers, it was Chromes launch that really spurred competition in the space that drove vendors to implement standards and interoperability so it seems reasonable that a new screenreader could provide the same outcome for screenreaders.
One of my dear friends was doing furry yiff roleplay with the bot. Asking questions about if it had genitalia, what would it be and how it would look.
I think the reason for the shutdown is clear, plenty and understandable. These (and other) kinds of screenshots about Clyde are circulating around the internet, and it doesn’t match the business direction and image of discord.
Whatsapp keep getting bloated after each update. I haven't yet agreed to the new privacy policy and don't care that I can't use the newer features like Channels because of that. If not for professional reasons, I would have uninstalled it long ago, just around when I convinced my friends and family to move to Signal for personal conversations. But because I still have to use it professionally, I really hope they don't introduce ads on their core service i.e. messaging.
Before anyone says “oh but they need to make money…” open source has worked great for most things. All money has done is ruin everything it touches!
YouTube is full of idiots promoting their opinions or often not even opinions, just regurgitating someones else youtube video so now all we have is “omg man, like and subscribe…” 20 times an hours with about 5 minutes of anything slightly useful, if not just a full paid promotion. Not to mention most videos would be much better as a blog or actually useful wiki you can follow without trying to find something useful in a video!
If you removed all the junk from YouTube, you could probably just run off a an 8 bay NAS! 😎
I have no idea how bad any of the other social media platforms are these days since I have no friends and youtube is the one that really ****s me off these days! 🤬
Is it possible it's an HDR conflict (e.g. HDR content on a non-HDR screen or similar)? Have you messed with the various "Color Space" options in your monitor/video card settings? My monitor was wonky for awhile and it ended up being set to the wrong color space/profile.
If it were a monitor issue, I wouldn't have been able to capture the brightness discrepancy in a screenshot. Turning on the HDR feature in Windows makes EVERYTHING darker and washed out, the video application should be able to play HDR encoded files just fine, but as you can see from the screenshot, it simply doesn't. I wonder if anyone else has downloaded 2160p encoded video files and had them play bright and crisp in HDR on Windows, ever.
