It is happening relatively fast. Solar glass is already in production, at least as good as I know in Spain (the Spanish startup Onyx Solar is one of the pioneers in the area. They have already implemented solutions in buildings in Spain, Australia, Saudi Arabia and a prototype of a new version of the product in Israel.

Threads isn't federating yet. Afaik the zucc hasn't explained how he plans to implement activitypub, so we simply don't know.

Conveniently the abstract category of tools are hurting workers, not their bosses prioritizing cost savings over quality.

There is little useful work that AI can do without human editing and approval. These employers choose to either devalue that skill and/or pay workers less relative to their productivity.
