AutoMod for obvious reasons (removing spam, slurs, etc.), and controversial sort to see the spiciest comments in that thread.

I have installed connect for lemmy on my phone, but I don’t particularly like the way the website looks, are there any web apps for lemmy?

Basically what the title says, while the page is loading sometimes I will see someone else’s username and pfp in the top left corner before it switches to my own when the page finishes loading. I have seen this happen twice now....

0.19 brings many improvements but “Adding a scaled sort, to boost smaller communities” is the one I’m most excited about....

Lemmy is still small and growing, so trying to use your subscribed feed of smaller communities, mixed in with larger communities leaves you with a very uneven feed as your scroll. I like being subscribed to the largest Technology community, but also I am subscribed to the Movies and TV community. One is more active with posts...

I couldn’t find any dark mode Lemmy icon. Memmy’s icon was close, so I downloaded it and tweaked the background. I hope it’s helpful for some folks.

When making a post on Lemmy, it automatically does searches for similar existing posts. On Reddit you often have the issue of people asking the same questions over and over, this feature should definitely help reduce that!

I speak my mind here and sometimes it causes some friction. Having been banned a few times for various dumb reasons what really annoys me is there’s no notice of it, and many will just hide behind a generic “mod” label for banning and deleting. Is there a reason there’s no attribution required for these actions?
