I won’t be happy unless this game can simulate the universe, solve cold fusion, and resurrect my hamster. Anything less isn’t worth £60.

Sylver,

60? I wouldn’t be surprised if Rockstar uses this to start up $/£80 games…

Dasnap,
@Dasnap@lemmy.world avatar

Sterling being worth shit was fun while it lasted.

Viking_Hippie,

How about a 1:1 simulation of 72% of Argentina, lukewarm fusion and your hamster is undead? Mummy in the standard version, lich king in the deluxe.

Mac,

Give me the Twin Glaives and we’ll call it a deal.

I just finished this and now starting Miles Morales

I got foxhole a few days ago, and while I haven’t done anything aside from Frontline fighting yet, I’m hooked.

ChillPenguin,

I’m in the same boat. I’ve mainly been doing logistics. But sometimes I’ll bring up a field gun or tank to use.

Oh my god, am I dead?

Folks, seriously though, things are going to get very exciting very quickly. It’s fun to get on the hype train, I know I will, but please remember that this will be another game. Marketers are going to try to tell us they redefined gaming but they didn’t. Don’t let the hype get so high that it ruins the experience because nothing can live up to your hopes.

Get excited, but have realistic expectations. That’ll be the best way to enjoy the game.

crawley,

IMO not a great option for Steam Deck. It’s certainly doable, and excellent for PC, but it’s been too much of a pain to run on Steam Deck.

I find installing via Lutris works most of the time for most games. Definitely not as clean or easy as going through Steam, but it’s typically not hard enough to avoid entirely.

habanhero,

wdym, pretty easy through Heroic Launcher. I have GoG, Epic and Amazon Games working great on it.

raptir, in Netease Promises that its New Open-World RPG Project Mugen Is an Unprecedented Experience

I feel like every time we hear this the “unprecedented experience” is something no one enjoys. Or in the rare case that the new feature is good the rest of the game is not.

Risk Global Domination

Weirdfish, in The Weekly 'What are you playing?' Discussion

I’ve bought all the soulsborne games on release going back to Demons Souls, and I just sucked at them.

I am finally playing Bloodborne after giving up at the first boss many times over the years, playing co op with my girlfriend, who has beaten them all and platinumed quite a few.

While I got good enough to beat most of them, except Sekiro, I just couldn’t get the rhythm of Bloodborne, and always gave up, even though I know many people consider it the best in the series.

Going back to my tried and true method of “Just keep grinding and leveling up till you figure it out” finally worked, I beat the first main boss yesterday (with her as summons).

Really looking forward to this one as I’ve done a pretty good job of avoiding spoilers.

echo64, in [Question] Were can i find a list of Safe Sites where buy Steam Games/Keys/Bundles??

fwiw, if you care about developers getting paid, then you probably want to stick to humble/steam.

pretty much everywhere else resells keys and the developers get screwed. not such a big deal with big developers but Chet Faliszek has talked a lot about the effect these services have had on his new studio (hint, really bad) because they did some sales and all the key resellers took a massive advantage

brawleryukon,
@brawleryukon@lemmy.world avatar

You’re conflating grey market key re-sellers (G2A, Kinguin, CDKeys, etc.) with actual legitimate key sellers (GreenManGaming, Fanatical, GamesPlanet, etc.).

Just because the names of what they do sound alike doesn’t mean they are alike. As has been pointed out in other comments, either use isthereanydeal.com or gg.deals with the “Keyshops: Disabled” option, and any shop listed will be fine.

Well they’re not gonna cut top salaries, can’t have any of that, it’s bad for business!! Imagine being able to only afford one yacht instead of your standard three! Gotta let those lackeys at the bottom of the pyramid go, what’re they even holding up, anyway? The foundation of the company? Surely not.
