What is the device you want, but that does not exist?
I would love the child of a Surfacebook with a Framework laptop; or A bare keyboard attached to a screen, that I could plug my phone (possibly running Phosh) and use it as a hardware for a laptop experience
I swear I have seen a machine, but it was super expensive and I think you had to give I it clothes in a certain way. At that point I think I would just fold them myself.
I wanted to just give it a laundry basket and let it go to work.
A dream recorder. I know scientists have actually made progress on this, remarkably, but it’s probably 40 years away at least from being a “device” that offers any kind of clarity. Also, may as well as well state I want it to capture how you feel too.
Star Trek Industrial Replicator…Star Trek has never really had an episode that explored the magic of what you could do if you had a replicator. Just having ONE, would change the world overnight, and forever. I’d start replicating replicators and handing them out.

Back in the day there was a phone called motorola atrix 4g, they made a lapdock for it that let you do this. There was also 3d party company that made lapdocks for modern Samsung phones that support Dex, but I’m not sure if they’re still aournd.
There isn’t much point in having such a low power and utility limited device when a cheap low powered Windows laptop can cost a similar amount and run any Windows app you want.
Plus if you just want to sync data there are already plenty of cloud based and data syncing services that can fulfill that without needing a phone laptop.
That said with USB C based devices in theory you should be able to use use an adapter in order to plug in an hdmi, and mouse and keyboard(or use a bluetuth one)
Literally just an android phone, but it comes pre-rooted and one of the system apps is a scripting language, similar to how the TI-83 comes with TI-BASIC. It’s bullshit that we’re carrying these powerful super-computers everywhere but with less user empowerment then a mid-tier calculator.
(yes, I know you can root your phone and install termux and python but I want that to be the default)
