Same here FPV, then 3D printers the. Retro Gaming. Now I’m still waiting on the next tech hobby. I’m still doing 3D printing a lot and retro game is evolving fast with powerful portable devices. Plus the phone emulators are amazing even on iPhone.
Printed with two PETG filaments on a glass bed with hairspray. Printed the black lines (with a custom end code that doesn’t turns off motors) then printed the white over it in a separate gcode (also with custom start with no homing). It even allows me to go with an exact and cut off hairs and blobs before laying the white....
I print the letters face down on the print bed with a first Gcode (make sure the geocode doesn’t stop the motors at the end). Then you print a second file over it for the plate that has a gap of your initial layer height where the letters are. The benefit is that if I fail a print, I only wasted on layer not a whole print.
I know gator-aid and its like advertise that they have lots of them. And I know sometimes I feel bad if I sweat a lot and just drink water. But are they just advertising… salt? Are there different kinds of electrolytes, and if so are they interchangable?
To be honest CVT is a really bad design. The belt is always an issue. Now the e-CVT are amazing, they use the electric motor of the hybrid system and a planetary gear system to change the ratio between the gas engine and the wheels.
I kept burning my food or wait forever for the pan to heat up and I finally understand why. Each knob has a different direction for the Hi and Lo (also why isn’t it Low).
Because you can make a larger profit by keeping the same design and parts on a crap product and charge you an inflated premium vs selling you a good product with decent R&D and testing. If it’s all crap you can’t tell you’re being fucked. Same thing with sliding guillotinée windows and health insurance.
OMG I just had a vision of a future where cooking recipes had DRM. “Chicken detected. In order to cook your chicken to the right temperature, you need a delicious home food subscription. Tap on the top left burner to subscribe” also the burner is on.
Well, for starter. Pick a direction for Lo -> Hi either clockwise or counterclockwise and stick to it.
The rotating knob is great. Haptic feedback. You can see it’s off at a clan r from afar. It’s not an encoder but a potentiometer so each position always has the same function hard coded. Just make them all turn in the same direction.
I would chose counter-clockwise as it’s easier to turn it that way for a right handed person (and that’s how the single burners are designed, all 3 of them (although the warm zone has a weird dead zone for some reason). Start on Lo until it gets to Hi then for multiple ring ones when you hit ring_1 hi and continue you get to ring_2 Lo and so on.
Then you try to charade what they look like, then your coworker starts going down a list of other coworkers names and you’re like “Honey, I don’t know anyone’s name, not even yours. Except of Charley from accounting, he as the same name as my nephew, he also kinda looks like him, but as a grown ass man. Then you wonder...
I had that at work. Except my hyper focus solved an issue they’ve been dealing with for months. Now my superior comes to me every time I see him and thanks me again. It’s been over a month.
Could also be due to the fact that the search bar and the address bar is the same, if you forget, or don’t know to put.com at the end, it will take you straight to the search page.
