This fella was an ebay rescue that came with so much paint on it that I wasn’t sure if he was actually this model. So I stripped him and did my best to give him a new lease of life as the first of my Emperors Children....

Cost effective filament for low volume printing? IE: getting smaller amounts of filament?

Just finished test printing my latest project (sopuli.xyz)
I’ve just finished tweaking this Leman Russ proxy, inspired by the very original model released for Epic back in the 80s. It’s designed to be easy to print in FDM (no supports required for printing), the one pictured was printed on a stock Ender 3....

The guardsmen were printed from scans of the original 80s plastic kit the ogryns are scans of the 90s metal ones and the commissar is from cults3d....

I picked up these old boys in a couple of ebay lots, one was missing a set of spikes so I decided to practice my sculpting skills. One thing led to another and I decided to see if I could make them a bit more dynamic than the original sculpts. What do you guys think?...
