I’ve never done a ccna or similar cert, so its definitely not a requirement.
If the course covers setting up firewalls, vlans, subnets etc, then it will definitely be applicable. I have attempted to vlan/subnet some of the less trustworthy devices on my network, and it wasnt easy with my limited experience.
I would disagree that the word ‘boy’ implies young. Its usage to refer to men in their ~20s goes back to at least the 70s (I doubt anyone thinks The Boys Are Back in Town is about children, for instance). ‘Girl’ and ‘baby’ have similarly different meanings depending on context.
I think this was one of the biggest failings of parents in the 90s and 2000s - the internet was so new that they were scared of all the wrong things and didn’t know how to properly protect their kids online.
I’m eternally grateful I never saw some pretty horrific shit online. The worst I saw was porn and some of those jumps are videos and clips from horror movies.
Edit: I should clarify that to some extent I don’t even necessarily blame the parents. How were they supposed to know? Most of them just used the thing for work or to file taxes or look up the news. They weren’t looking in those dark corners or really even aware they existed until they saw their kids looking at it.

You pay with more and more time spent watching porn, digging into an addictive cycle that, by definition, repeat itself. Porn is free indeed, but is pretty bad for you.
I mean a do too, but try to not wank for at least a month, you’ll find it hard to do. At least for me that’s the case. And I do work, I do socialize at least twice a week.
I don’t think that’s true for the majority of people tho. I personally don’t have that issue at all, I actually watch less porn now than I used to (Was once a day at some point, now it’s once every few days) and it’s not like I’m getting old or anything, I’m still a teenager. And I have one friend who does it multiple times a day, cause he’s bored but everyone else I know doesn’t.
