Hi, Im searching for a secure distro for normal daily use for my laptop. Currently Im running arch linux with full disk encryption, secure boot, linux hardened, firewalld and most apps as flatpaks (with some disabled permissions using flatseal). I think its pretty secure laptop but it could be more secure....

I’m trying to reign in my iOS camera roll and I figured it would be easier on desktop. Turns out the Photos app suuuuuuucks. All I want is to categorize photos by tag or folder and then remove them from the main view. Albums are nice in theory but they’re an extra click/tap away from the home screen and don’t hide photos...

I’m interested in setting up SearXNG, so had a look at the public instances. What I found is that the search results page don’t contain widgets....

I’m looking for a google calendar replacement that isn’t nextcloud, has a descent mobile app with widgets, and authentication built in. I’ve seen plenty of recommendations via search but i’d like to hear what you personally use and what you like about it.
