    Don’t put it in /usr/bin, that’s where your package manager puts executables, not you. Other than that, do what you want. /usr/local/bin is good, or if it’s only for your user ~/bin, ~/local/bin or ~/.local/bin - I don’t care. Also just let your users decide where they want to put the script.

    My phone is either lying around, in my pocket or in my car most of the time. The times when I carry it outdoors in my hand are not many. And shouldn’t the sensor be less than 5 cm away from something, and you have to select the kind of material that you want to measure?

    I recently got a pinetab2, and I booted it into ubuntu-touch, running lomiri. But the screen orientation is the wrong way (portrait). I am not interested in autorotate, so how would I force the screen orientation of a mir-based desktop to landscape? If you need more info to help me, just ask for it....
