Nevermore - finally got to the 4th stage of the collection.

Been off/on working on it since HoT, but just never really put real effort into it (or was distracted by other legendaries).

I’m glad they found it before the dogs did - 4 days undetected is pretty impressive!

I particularly love this image of it in the branches - it looks so cozy (although perturbed by the flash).

I believe they spawn in villages, but OP should be able to get enough iron from their mob farm to build one eventually.

Super interesting, thanks for sharing. I definitely was curious about how/why the Jotun seemed so primitive in core Tyria, but in the new expac they talked of them as basically God’s.

The Gods really just did whatever they wanted, didn’t they lol.

Would be cool to see a fractal where we go back to when the Jotun were powerful.

Beautiful bird. I remember becoming very interested in them after reading “my side of the mountain” iirc the book was about a boy who was living on their own in the forest (in a tree?) And trains a peregrine falcons to help hunt.

I’m in the Midwest US, so a few! Outside of a zoo I’ve really only seen barn and hawk-owls - but I’ve lived in fairly populated areas which probably doesn’t help my chances!

💚💚 the Hussars are easily my favorite part of history. There are some incredible stories of them taking on armies much larger than their own as well as some gruesome facts about putting enemy skulls on their lance. Really interesting stuff!

What’s funny is that in the last year Google has de-googlefied my life more than I have.

Android, Gmail, Google Podcasts, and Domains were the remaining services I use of theirs.

Now I guess it’s just Android and Gmail.

Bummed about Google Domains / Site analytics, I really enjoyed how straightforward it was.
