My GTX-1080 is getting a little long in the tooth, I’m thinking of going all AMD on my Linux Mint gaming rig here, but…is there anything I need to do or install or uninstall to switch to an AMD card from an Nvidia one?...
Just like, get a roof box? Stack stuff a spare seat if there is one? Or if your city happens to have car sharing, you could rent a car for those few days. I’m lucky enough to have GreenMobility here and a 2 day all-in pack would cost me 145€. They even have small electric vans for moving stuff.
Hackers have reportedly found a way to use the Google Calendar as command & control (C2) infrastructure which could create quite a few headaches in the cybersecurity community.
Do I understand correctly that this is not at all an exploit for Google Calendar itself, but just uses the Calendar share functionality to communicate to already infected hosts? That can be applied to pretty much any service with publicly accessible of sharable data though… I’d call this website out for clickbait but it seems like every tech news website is copy-pasting this same fearmongering article.
TLDR; An app to stream calls between Phone, Tab & PC
On Samsung, there's a feature- Call & Text on Other Devices" by which calls on Galaxy phones can be streamed to your Galaxy Tab/Book PCs & vice versa via BT/Wifi. Your Phone and Intel Unison also do this
I have an android phone, tab, linux PC. Any app that can do this? What about Nextcloud, etc? Can't convince some to use VOIP
One form of harm does not excuse the other. We all have to make some effort on multiple fronts if we want the future to be brighter. Besides, it’s easier to survive as a vegetarian than without technology in modern society.
External communities are just searchable, subscribable and browsable from here. Sometimes you need to change a search filter or default view from Local to All. Or is there something else you feel is missing? I think 90% of the issues people are having are UX related and not a core issue with federation or decentralization.
