Hey look, it's the "keep ideology out of schools" crowd pushing their depraved ideology.

“Requiring a doctor’s note is also a burden in terms of time and money. Many people don’t have a primary care physician or one who is readily available,” Stone wrote in a column for Forbes this week. “And requiring proof of a disability might be considered a violation of the Americans with Disability Act, depending on how one interprets masking as a request for accommodation.”

Base Air Show Featuring Scantily Clad Models Raises Questions About Justification for Drag Show Ban (www.military.com)

At Joint Base Lewis-McChord's air show just outside of Tacoma, Washington, this past weekend, onlookers and families saw tactical military jets, high-performance sports cars and risqué models dancing on stage in skintight red, white and blue bikinis, part of what organizers described as a "way to thank the Puget Sound...

Listen, dredging up phony "moral" outrage isn't just a time-consuming and difficult process of navigating lengthy and confusing doctrines. You also have to meet up with these people, ignore their obvious problems, and agree with them when they fly off the handle about one small minority group or another being the cause of all their problems. It's downright soul-crushing, I tells ya. Nobody appreciates being a good phony moral outrage dealer anymore.

Ex-FBI official says GOP is telling agents: 'If you investigate our party, you are going to pay the price' (www.rawstory.com)

Former FBI official Frank Figliuzzi wasn't happy after watching Republicans grill FBI director Christopher Wray in the House Wednesday. While Democrats questioned Wray for ignoring warnings about Jan. 6, Republicans sought answers to a slew of conspiracy theories and culture war grievances that go a...

elscallr,

Look I'm no fan of Republicans but I'm not about to defend the FBI. They literally gave Philly PD two pounds of C4 to bomb residences in Philadelphia in 1985.

Let's not pretend they're some bastion of democratic values, they're still feds.

/kbin project management costs, financing, future plans (kbin.social)

I wrote the first line of code for /kbin on January 14, 2021. Around this time, I started working remotely and decided that the time I used to spend commuting to the office would be devoted to /kbin. Throughout this entire period, /kbin has been a hobby project that I developed in my free time. It was also when Lemmy started...

@ernest, if Kbin starts making okay money, don't be afraid to give yourself a salary. It's important that you get to eat too.

Lolman228,

I thought that donations going to you were going to be pocketed and spent on hard liquor, not for our benefit. I'm disappointed in you ernest, be better.

admiralteal,

Some more biomass for the orphan-crushing machine.

SomeoneElse,

I read it as he was outside. He walked up the driveway and the homeowner decided to grab his gun, call the police and detain him until they arrived. As a Brit the thought of someone holding me at gunpoint because I walked up their driveway is absolutely terrifying.

  • PhobosAnomaly,

Absolutley. Molyneux was a visionary, a vanguard, a trailblazer.

Problem is, all that is past tense, and his last ten or fifteen years have been spent overpromising and underdelivering.

I thought the then-Project Natal demo that turned out to be largely scripted would have been the killer blow to his reputation, but fair play to him he’s still hanging in there.

    vudu,

I wouldn't live where I live if it weren't for Team Fortress 2. So I'll have to say that.

    GataZapata,

'Gamers agree' that would be a historical first lol
