Gullible,

I was downvoted incredibly heavily for explaining this a while ago, but the answer is to promote misunderstandings. It’s a holdover from print newspapers where every word not printed amounted to extra ad space and article space, and therefore revenue and detail. However, being that that’s not an issue online, its only use is as a form of clickbait called a “crash blossom.”

Gullible,

Jesus, and I emphasize, fucking Christ.

Gullible,

and like the billion or so people who are benefiting from colonialism on this earth have to justify to themselves why they deserve to live when really they should die

When white guilt reaches critical mass, it gets weird. For sure, yes, attempt to rectify unequal relationships as best you can. There’s no decent argument for avoiding equitable treatment of others. Suggesting people should kill themselves over something they have no say over is well past simple neuroticism. These kids are sincerely driving each other crazy.

Gullible,

Just a heads up, privacy badger effectively doesn’t do anything besides take up resources and make you slightly more fingerprintable as compared to simply using ublock. All of its useful behaviors were culled a few years ago, funny enough, due to fingerprinting. Its blocklist is severely out of date.

Gullible,

My dozen consecutive minutes of Call of Duty haven’t prepared me for this. My 400 hours of Town of Salem, on the other hand, also haven’t. I should have played Bioshock Infinite.

Gullible,

I knew the battle was lost when my mother called me to tell me that AI will kill us all. Her proof? A chatgpt log saying that it would exterminate humanity only when she gives the order. Thanks for the genocide, mom.

Gullible,

Back from Reddit, and here’s the deal.

1: based upon your karma earned per week, you get a share of all gold given to your account. They shared only that 100-4999 karma per week gives $.90 per gold and 5000-? gives $1.00 per gold.

This will literally destroy every single community with a deluge of spam. They implied that they had a new spam system but it’s Reddit, so it will be ineffective at best. What, have they been purposefully allowing spam for years to train identification just for this moment?

2: No clue. Hopefully just joking.

Gullible,

I don’t think anyone believes this happened, it’s just a goofy story.

Gullible,

I didn’t come to this marxist Linux forum to be insulted like this. (Also, > preserves the >)

Gullible,

You can always notice AI based on the random belts on armor clad figures. It’s a neat belt, but why did it begin and end at the center of their chest?

Gullible,

Between the salt and pepper hair, petite yet sharp cleft jawline, tailored midnight grey suit that clung to his shoulders, and the gentle affectionate smile he wore every time the pipe crested his lips, yeah, he awakened some feelings. Don’t even get me started on his hands because I don’t know what they look like, I made this up for attention on the internet.

Gullible,

You’re thinking of pasta.

Gullible,

Where do I find others at the center of the sexual deviant and dried meat enthusiast Venn diagram?

Gullible,

I’ll take the smelly screaming drug addict with a knife over the quiet, peculiarly sweet smelling drug addict with a dozen guns and a cousin-wife on the police force.

Gullible,

He spoke settlingly aptly and moved as only a being of pure properness could. Nearby cast members were accused of sexual harassment by sheer contrast.

Gullible,

It’s not just EVs that do this. If your car asks you to download an app, you’re already nestled between their marketing department’s thighs.

Edit: also, try a slash before the > to keep the >. Like so:

>

Gullible,

I- I can’t understand. Can you please explain it in pounds, pints, and miles?

Gullible,

Just a reminder that George Lucas’s headcanon for the initial 6 movies involves R2-D2 embellishing its role in these stories in the distant future.

Gullible,
Gullible,

Prank calls were the best part of 4chan. I can’t even remember the name of that christian radio station that was endlessly bombarded by calls anymore, but listening along was a treat. Would have been around 2008.

Gullible,

That sounds familiar, is this the one?

Gullible,

I’m reminded of a prank channel I used to watch. He was briefly in jail for a bomb prank and later attacked and beat a woman, seemingly for fun, just a few years ago. These prank channels are nearly universally run by terrible people and there does not seem to be a single thing that will dissuade them from “advancing” their “art.”

Gullible,

I have no clue how well the formatting works for the visually impaired, but it’s better than nothing. Everyone should be able to read stories about vomit and diarrhea, and that’s just my political opinion.

Gullible,

There are factually propagandists seeding atrocious ideas in nearly all communities, especially during and after breakaways like 4 months ago. Given the use of AI and scripting, and not to mention the nearly complete absence of countermeasures for either one on a relatively naive space like lemmy, a handful of people are definitely fomenting divisiveness. Subtle white supremacists, surreptitious state actors, website advertisers etc…

Tl;dr: I’ve personally found a few sprinkled about.

Gullible,

About half of the accounts visible from this link. No clue whether they’re site advertisers or what, but they copy and paste identical threads across multiple social media platforms and steal twitter comments. It’s a pretty neat strategy, until you learn that it’s bog standard. Just the ones I noticed most recently, I usually don’t pay them any mind past determining their intent to spread divisiveness.

Gullible,

You’re telling me that they’re doing this for free?

Gullible,

If only the phone system in the US, like the rest of the modern world, had robust authentication. It’s all a bit hacked together, much like the solution.

Gullible,

This one hits close to home. My best friend and I used to love this one game as kids but it gradually became less fun as every meta shift further pushed passive play. We discovered innovative strategy after innovative strategy and yet were losing multiple times per hour in a game with a queue time of ~15-30 minutes, which is bonkers. Anyway, I just lost the game and so have you.

Gullible,

The cessation of the arms race and the dissolution of NATO

Da, fellow countrymen, we must cease this pitiful defending against aggression pact. Is very rude.

But in all seriousness, does it hurt to be that gullible?

Gullible,

Stick become microparticulate and cause 1000 pneumocarcinoma. Stick win every time.

Gullible,

I don’t get mad, no.

Gullible,

Some have suggested that the purchase was partly to prevent a second Arab spring. Saudi funding and increased cooperation make it a possibility but I’m not sold on any particular idea besides “avoid everything Elon touches.” Why anyone stayed on ragebait bot network: the website is beyond my understanding.

Gullible,

Alternative title: anon never gets plugged

Gullible,

Could I get a digestible version of the dnd drama? I could never parse what was happening.

Gullible,

Well isn’t that just the state of politics today.

Gullible,

Oh neat, you saved me about 8 seconds of my life by pointing out that I could have used just two spaces. Damn shame I wasted them on this thank you.

Gullible,

This conversation is proof of the opposite, but venting is healthy so feel free to continue.
