Here is the basic recipe. I made the following modifications: I soaked 1/2 oz of dried porcini mushrooms in 1/2 c of boiling water for 15 minutes, then used the soaking liquid in the recipe and cut the broth back by 1/2 c. We also ended up adding about 1.5 tsp of paprika when adjusting seasoning at the end. Next time we decided that we would substitute shallot for onion.

After my last build I had to rewire the case for some reason, which was a pain in the ass. Somehow, after the rewire, the "reset" button became the "on" button, and the "on" button does nothing but light up when the computer is on. I've been saying, "Meh, good enough" for seven years now.

Let's face it, apart from nostalgia, season 3 was also pretty bad. I couldn't believe they did the long-lost son thing for the third time (Kirk, then Picard, then Picard again), then did a bait-and-switch Borg thing which still doesn't make sense. It was nice to see some of the Enterprise D crew reunite and give the fans some closure, even if the writers ignored years of character development, in some cases.

I love IPAs. I t seems that the sour and gose fad is still going on, but IPAs are easy to produce and popular, so I don't think they're going anywhere anytime soon.

If you're into fruitier beers, you should try pairing a wheat beer with goat cheese. My GF and I had a fried goat cheese appetizer with jalapeno jelly and house brewed key lime gose few year ago. It was killer, and we said we needed to go back, but then quarantine, supply chain, yada yada, and here we are sitting at our computers.
