BallShapedMan,

Another year where I played more Dead Cells than anything else. I have a problem lol.

BallShapedMan,

F1 2023 with my son.

We are on the phone/discord while we play. When he’s in first place I yell “are ya winning son?”

BallShapedMan,

That middle pic is disturbing…

BallShapedMan,

Man that original trailer looked so good though. One less game on the wishlist!

F1 2023 with my son. He’s so much better than me it’s not even funny. I started on a controller and moved to the cheapest wheel I could find and that took me from 9 seconds off of his pace to 5 seconds. This weekend I bought the entry level Moza package and now I’m 2 seconds off of his pace and finally my tire wear is reasonable. Being able to feel the tire grip is clearly critical to compete.

We have a blast as McLaren trying to best Red Bull in our two player season!

Here’s a picture of him destroying the Nuremberg ring at Micro Center while I’m getting my Moza package. https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/a19eb8f2-56a3-442b-8f06-4093b08cc207.jpeg

And here’s a snap he took of me on my first lap with the wheel (yes I still use the racing line and drive automatic, he’s trying to break me off of those) https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/3ddde653-e444-4f5d-8541-41e3d752101e.png

BallShapedMan,

I’m still on the couch, slightly further away from my wife.

BallShapedMan,

My face when I surprise orgasm…!

BallShapedMan,

Once you get good at it, the third dimension really opens up a lot of cool combat scenarios. But unless you really need a good RTS or love space or whatever it’s probably not worth getting good at.

I for one loved the first one and liked the second and will probably play the hell out of this one.

BallShapedMan,

Couldn’t agree with this more.

BallShapedMan,

My kid argued with me about what one sixteenth of a pie looked like when he was serving me. He tried to give me one eighth and I was already full!

BallShapedMan,

We are, they are good humans!

BallShapedMan,

I think the recipes are more creative than factorio as you scale up to bigger things. Which makes it more fun and more brain bending. I found it easier to optimize in factorio for new things than satisfactory.

I enjoyed both, but I play satisfactory more and will be playing it again with this update.

BallShapedMan,

But what relationship do the piles of Mac and Cheese have with the person…?

BallShapedMan,

Dang, I’ll delete. Thanks.

BallShapedMan,

My Dad quit after almost dying from lung infections. So maybe see if you can get yourself one of those every year for a decade to where you’re hospitalized for a few weeks at the end and the doctor says the next time you leave in a body bag.

Rosie and Jules chilling with my wife in her office on the couch we bought just for them. Yes we spoil them.

BallShapedMan,

Their game is blankets. They have their favorites and subpar blankets are not acceptable.

BallShapedMan,

As a fellow reader, how do you identify others in the wild? I feel like my method sucks…

BallShapedMan,

I need to get this shirt for my wife!

BallShapedMan,

Where are my scoliosis peoples at? Woop Woop!

BallShapedMan,

Interesting experience, my son and I are both ADHD and we love to drive. I’ll drive for 14 hours almost straight just fine and enjoy it.

My youngest is what ADHD and hates cars, takes a bus whenever possible.

BallShapedMan, (edited )

I want #3 the most.

BallShapedMan,

Those are bothersome, plus it’s less about collaborating and networking more and far more a channel for sales people to find you and try to sell you stuff. “Hey, let’s connect and be friends, wanna see my SaaS?”

BallShapedMan,

I think I’m alright with that though lol.

BallShapedMan,

I try to be.

BallShapedMan,

Yes, that’s it. I know how to shave 27 years of age with makeup. I was feeling cute, might delete later 🤣

BallShapedMan,

Initially it was a sharp learning curve and far more rewarding than it’s been hard.

BallShapedMan,

But gosh sometimes I wish I was lol.

And to be fair the first night they asked to be called a new name I told my wife in bed no way in hell. The next morning I realized I was an idiot and told my wife we’ll support our kid no matter what and I’ll start using the name right away. So I did have my moment of not sure brightness.

BallShapedMan,

With the holidays coming up I’ll be sure to remind them as they select my Christmas gifts 😂

And thank you!

BallShapedMan,

Thank you! We are too.

BallShapedMan,

💸💸💸💸🤘

BallShapedMan,

Lol! My favorite revelation was when I found out I was now invisible. My kids expression turned when I told them it’s because I’m trans-parent!

BallShapedMan,

I can’t stop laughing at this! Keep posting please!

BallShapedMan,

Or Prince of Persia

BallShapedMan,

I’m excited and worried for it in equal amounts.

BallShapedMan,

Totally agree, for its day Sands of Time was literally one of the best games you could play.

BallShapedMan,

Interesting, that might get me to buy it in a few years on discount.

BallShapedMan,

Sort of, I keep a gratitude journal. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I add an entry and have been doing it since late 2015.

It’s helped me be more appreciative of what I already have and be satisfied with those things instead of always wanting more and more. My mentally before was “I’ll be happy when”, now my mentally is “I wake up happy and do what it takes to defend that mental state.” I find my life feels a lot better now even though you could argue it’s about the same.

I mean my kids are all now adults and my relationship with my wife is the best it’s ever been and work is amazing and all. But I think for the most part those are going well because I’m going well, not the other way around.

But that’s just me.

BallShapedMan,

Often times (not always) you can had archive.is/ between the https:// and the www to get access to it.

Also works when there is a paywall.

BallShapedMan,

Instead of credit monitoring, freeze your credit. It’s free to thaw it whenever you want. And you can look at a lot of details on the websites of the credit agencies including score. TransUnion offers the least before asking you to pay.

And many banks and credit card companies offer the same service for free.

BallShapedMan,

Freeze it, it’ll still build but keep anyone from using it. And then when you want to use it you thaw it for however long and it’ll freeze right after.

BallShapedMan,

Zenni is where they picked em out at
