It looks like the recommendation is to try out the #Threadiverse (#Kbin and / or #Lemmy) first - but only by 1.8% over #Peertube! Y'all must know that I've been getting frustrated with #Reddit lately. I also appreciate the recommendations for other things to explore.
Now the question is Kbin or Lemmy? Or both? (any thoughts?)

However, it's up to individual instance maintainers to provide something like this.

Hab letzten bei Aldi eine einfache 8€ Schwanenhals Lampenfassung zum "an den Tisch schrauben / klemmen" besorgt. Leuchtmittel Warmweiß reingeknallt undbwertig. Das Licht ist recht angenehm je nach Stellung der Lampe. @askfedi_de
Is there a way to get rid of the question being posed in the screenshot below? I think the idea of installing "apps" to use web sites is utterly ridiculous and do not want to be asked this question, ever. Asking Doctor Internet how to disable this crap produced results telling me to change various Android settings (which didn't work). Installing a half dozen different browsers via Droidify didn't seem to give me any pleasure either.
I am running Vanadium on GrapheneOS, and am willing to switch browsers. Is there anyone who actually knows how to just make this question go away forever?

@kolev@wfpb Nope. For me, restaurants (and eating at other people's houses) are the only time I relax WFPB (stick to vegan though, for ethical reasons).
@kolev@wfpb If it's a non-vegan restaurant I usually bring a chocolate bar or a couple of cookies in my purse just in case they don't have vegan desert (I require a little bit of desert at every meal). In my experience, most non-v restaurants don't have vegan desert, so I will ask them something like 'I hope you don't mind, but ... ' and of course I like to let them know I'd have happily bought a desert if they had any.

Letztendlich ist es ein Anbieter über #check24 bzw. #verivox geworden. #Tibber und Co finde ich vom Ansatz her genial, aber in Verbindung mit einer #PV-Anlage dann doch eher suboptimal, da der Strompreis genau zu den Zeitpunkten am höchsten ist, wo die PV nicht oder am wenigsten produziert.
Habe mich jetzt für einen Anbieter mit einem niedrigen Grundpreis und einer kurzen Laufzeit entschieden, da ich beobachten möchte, wie sich das mit meiner #PV entwickelt. So kann ich relativ kurzfristig den Anbieter anpassen, falls das notwendig ist.
Gibt es eigentlich Ohrstöpsel die wirklich 100% vor Lärm schützen und bequem über längere Zeit zu tragen sind? Ohropax ging gar nicht, die sind nur schmerzhaft, Sonic Shop Ear Extreme sind unangenehm nach längerem Tragen und man hört immer noch leise etwas und Loop Earplugs sind wirklich nur um den Alltag etwas zu filtern, die schützen überhaupt nicht vor Lärm. #askfedi@askfedi_de
