Any #compsci teachers who use GitHub Codespaces (or similar) for teaching? We're a Chromebook school and can't put student devices into developer mode because of reasons. Codespaces seems like a good fit for different runtimes, but I have zero experience.
Any tips or thoughts would be appreciated. We're hoping to start in fall of 2024, so I have some time to tinker.

It looks like the recommendation is to try out the #Threadiverse (#Kbin and / or #Lemmy) first - but only by 1.8% over #Peertube! Y'all must know that I've been getting frustrated with #Reddit lately. I also appreciate the recommendations for other things to explore.

Im Prinzip ja. Leider fühle ich mich da jetzt nicht so ganz kompetent. Die Software kann unterschiedliche Sachen, die dann von den Systemen nicht alle abgebildet werden können.

Is there a way to get rid of the question being posed in the screenshot below? I think the idea of installing "apps" to use web sites is utterly ridiculous and do not want to be asked this question, ever. Asking Doctor Internet how to disable this crap produced results telling me to change various Android settings (which didn't work). Installing a half dozen different browsers via Droidify didn't seem to give me any pleasure either.
I am running Vanadium on GrapheneOS, and am willing to switch browsers. Is there anyone who actually knows how to just make this question go away forever?

I would oppose cluttering the sidebar with 100+ stats. Ideally there would be just 1 line:

If someone wants subscribers per instance detail, that should require some deep clicking around or a dedicated site that keeps track of that.
BTW, #Lemmy has lemmyverse.net (though I think the subscriber counts are misleading there too). What does #Kbin have for finding communities… anyone know? #askFedi

Ohropax ging gar nicht, die sind nur schmerzhaft, Sonic Shop Ear Extreme sind unangenehm nach längerem Tragen und man hört immer noch leise etwas und Loop Earplugs sind wirklich nur um den Alltag etwas zu filtern, die schützen überhaupt nicht vor Lärm. #askfedi@askfedi_de
