@mariyadelano @actuallyautistic I came across an article by Ludmila Praslova Ph.D. somewhere and have been a LinkedIn fangirl of hers ever since. She’s a prolific writer herself, but also shares great resources at the intersection of organizational psych and neurodivergence.

@mariyadelano @actuallyautistic One of my favorite resources that's not yet on your list is other neurodivergent people. While forums and Fediverse are great for me nothing comes close to face-to-face meetings as for e.g. in self-help-groups.

Best of luck with your newsletter!

Autistic specifically, "Unmasking autism" by Dr. Devon Price is in a league of its own. Brilliant and life changing.

@Sterkpil

How often do you find a book with this many five-star reviews?

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll be ordering a copy for myself.

@mariyadelano @actuallyautistic ADHD has many "types" - with hyperactivity, without (inattentive), and more. It doesn't always look the same!

I did this survey from a US clinic, and took it to my family doctor to start my journey to diagnosis. It's free:

Amen Clinics : ADD Type Test

Dr. Daniel Amen runs a clinic in the US and writes books on nutrition, meds, mindfulness, etc ...

@mariyadelano @actuallyautistic Dani Donovan is great, and her comics and TikToks are super useful to share with people who are undiagnosed or newly diagnosed and haven’t learned all of the things that are part of being ADHD.
