Parentheses aren’t necessary, I just prefer them for readability.
See python documentation on boolean operators for reference. Short story is a or b is an expression that evaluates to a if a is “truthy” else b. “Falsy” is empty strings/containers, 0 and None.

There is a 0% chance that AI can accurately determine if someone is 18 or not, even with hypothetical futuristic AI technology. Some 20-year-olds look very young. Some 16-year-olds look shockingly old. And nobody changes very significantly between the day of their 18th birthday and the day they were 17 years, 364 days.
It sounds like you need to force more discussion in session 0 talks (or earlier). Do you want an RP-light, fairly linear game? Great! You’re not alone. But everyone at your table needs to agree to that, or at least one of you is not having a good time.
I like a good hack and slash dungeon crawl. I also like RP heavy games. But those are two very different games, and it’s good to have consistency within whatever game you’re playing.
I’d personally want to support making the player characters during session 0 (maybe not the full character sheet, but at least personality/background and class).
I’ve done campaigns where everyone came into the session 0 with their characters all ready to go and the idea of the characters being adjusted wasn’t really brought up but more the rest of the aspects you mentioned. Differences and some antagonism between characters can make things really interesting, but at least in one of them two of the characters fundamentally wouldn’t ever be in a party together. One of the players felt some cognitive dissonance in wanting their character to stay in the party, but not being able to find a rational reason they would, and kinda had to retcon their character.
NFTs are an interesting and valuable technology that will be useful in the future as a means of digital media ‘ownership’ in place of ‘perpetual licensing’ like we see when we ‘buy’ media from servers today.
There’s more to it than monkey pictures, and if people saw that, we would have greater control over media libraries than in the present.
Sorry, but I just don’t think this attitude is useful for reducing harm to animals. It’s rare for people to hear about veganism and then go straight from eating meat to eating 0 animal products, for 100 reasons. I spent like 10 years vegetarian before finally going vegan.
This overly critical attitude and stereotypes associated with it do a lot to push people away from bothering with making any steps at all.
No one is able to fully eliminate animal harm from their lives, and any steps that anyone is making on the road to reducing it should be applauded. It’s our only option if we want to be anything other than a hated minority.
You would have numbers 0-9 plus two more digits (could use A and B, but any two symbols will do). The advantage is being able to cut things in thirds and quarters as well as in half. Cutting by a sixth is a bonus, as well.
RPN (reverse polish notation) is a different way of doing arithmetic where the order you write it naturally determines the order of operations. Do you know those Facebook memes where people get different answers for seemingly simple math equations? RPN does away with that. There is one and only one right way to interpret an RPN equation, and you don’t have to remember any order of operation rules to do it.
I hate having to explain this shit to literal Comp Sci majors.
Even if ChatGPT was literally a perfect copy of a human being it would still be 0 steps closer to a general intelligence because it does not fucking understand WHAT or HOW to actually do the things it suggests.

What if we AI passes the turing test not because computers got intelligent but because people got dumber

Zwei Klingen im Jahr bei einem Systemrasierer? Holy moly.
It said that Google put it in their aggregated report. Not that they disclosed it. There is a big difference between ‘we got 100 requests’ and ‘we got 10 requests for X info, 30 for Y info’.
ETA: I just looked at the data again, it’s broken in to categories like FISA NSL etc, then it just gives a range of requests 0-1000 etc.
