In LitigousEmma's defense, kbin did not comply with the license terms of the open source software, so there is a valid concern here. Unlike most programming languages which are often released under licenses which do not requite attribution.
However, mistakes happen. The open source community is better off if we could all just start from 0 and escalate based on response.
For me, I enjoyed D4 as a nice campaign. Played through a few times, once with my partner and another solo.
D4 pros: Impeccable game feel, moment to moment combat, graphics and even some nice storytelling. Enjoy the QoL features for alts and the myriad of endgame loops; Helltides are a lot of fun.
D4 cons: Dungeons are boring to me. Builds that feel fun and powerful are limited to 0-2 per class; a big letdown. Weird network / instance lag which stands out among the otherwise polished aesthetic. Middling open world re: exploration to reward ratio.
PoE pros: Deeeeeep. Hardcore. Aspirational? Still haven’t cleared the campaign despite getting closer each league. Lots of builds and skill variety.
PoE cons: Feels like the oldest baguette ever to exist. Wildly stiff gameplay. Ugh its such shit compared to D4. Like DMC vs Skyrim level of difference. Disparate, cheap feeling UI and tacked on storytelling. Exudes HardXCore__Statzz.xls energy and feels practically impossible to navigate a viable build without a guide.
In the end I think Grim Dawn outplays both D4 and PoE. Check it out if you love ARPGs

I love it when I have a problem and I can just go fix that with an hour of designing and testing and have a working solution printed for the next day. Just so satisfying. This is why I love this hobby....
I feel like this is the next step for me on my 3d-printing journey, but I have 0 experience with CAD. How do you design parts like this? (Note - I’ve done 0 research). Is there a how-to-for-dummies you can point me towards?
Hello everyone. (I made this post on kbin too but it seems like this is the official magazine)
I recently joined this site and started being excited posting my videos on different magazines. But then I just got randomly banned by MothraCultist because I was spamming low effort AI content. I have worked really hard on these videos for months, the content is AI generated, not the creation of it, and I have been posting them slowly on reddit in different subreddits, but I just joined here so I have to post on different ones all together. It is not like I went on a magazine and started spamming, it is all over the site.
If you want this site to grow don't let power hungry people like her just randomly ban people, that is how sites grow, with people excited to spread content. After the initial large posting on different magazines I was planning to just post once or twice a day and be active, but I can no longer do it because I have been banned for 1 year. I find this ridiculous.
If you guys think I am wrong let me know, I just wanted to grow different communities with my content because some of them like ChatGPT literally had 0 posts.
For anyone that would love to get a little more separation/readability out of comments, download Stylebot for chrome or a custom CSS extension for your browser, then use the CSS I wrote out below to get it to look like my screenshot!...
I run a few groups, like @fediversenews, mostly on Friendica. It's okay, but Friendica resembles Facebook Groups more than Reddit. I also like the moderation options that Lemmy has....
Lemmy UI is very easy to use, and fast too. Also, I like the concept of federation (though I have no plan in hosting one) and the fact that the community has been very welcoming so far also help with me being able to enjoy browsing Lemmy.
Of course, there's the obvious problem of lack of content but if the subreddits that I usually lurked on have fully switched to Lemmy then I would have 0 issues with fully switching to Lemmy regardless of the lack of content.
Going to a PeerTube home page feels like a weird mix of Interdimensional Cable and very early YouTube.
Discoverability is almost 0 and I can’t easily find any videos that I’d like to watch, as you said. I assume most people would leave once they see what’s on the home page.

TL;DR: Reddit is making their tracker-filled mobile app the only way to access Reddit on mobile devices, they are falsely accusing third-party developers of blackmail, and they are on a path to severely lower the quality of content posted on Reddit and increase the amount of spam you see. Currently, I’m using a Motorola moto g100 and I’m happy with it. Good battery life, nice big screen, much improved performance compared to my last phone. Best phone I’ve ever owned. The main inconvenience is the location of the fingerprint sensor: I’d have preferred if it was on the front of the device somehow (definitely not on the back – I often have it lying flat on the table).
I also dislike the fact it can only remember five fingerprints while I have 10 fingers. Who thought that was a good idea? :þ
Previously I had a Moto G5+ and a Moto G. I guess you could say I enjoyed the quality and relative lack of bloatware of these Motorola phones, while being more affordable than some of the alternatives I was considering at the time I bought them.
Going further back, I had a HTC Desire Z (with a slide-out physical keyboard). I picked it as my first smartphone because I was hesitant to get rid of physical keys, but as it turned out I hardly ever used them. Looking back, this one was clearly the worst value for the money.
Since I switched to smart phones I’ve been upgrading every 3 or 4 years.
Before the smart phone era, I had an Alcatel device (can’t remember the exact model). I used that tiny near-indestructable thing for over a decade, only charging it about once a week. It was mostly an “in case of emergency” though, not nearly as heavily used as later phones, because it wasn’t really usable as a miniature pocket-computer (like smart phones are). Still, I was pretty happy with it at the time: the only reason I got rid of it was because the ‘0’ button broke, and in my country all phone numbers start with 0.
I also have an LG G Watch (Wear OS). A relative worked at Google when these were handed out to employees but didn’t actually want it, so I got it as a gift. It’s pretty old now: I’ve replaced the bands a few times and it won’t charge past 70%, but it still mostly works and the battery still lasts all day. I’m not sure if I’ll get another smart watch if and when this one finally breaks, though.
No Apple products, and my laptop runs Linux Mint. These days, I only use Windows at work or when helping relatives with tech problems (sigh).
Wie soll das überhaupt laufen? Ich stell mir einen leeren Stall hin, der theoretisch 1000 Kühe halten könnte, a 100l Milch am Tag, also kann ich 100.000*0,14€ = 14.000€ pro Tag beantragen???
Synesthesia is when two senses combine with each other and form relationships. For example, I have the most common kind: grapheme-color synesthesia. Mine looks like this. The only one that’s supposed to be black is “1”. Otherwise, the ones in black have no color associated with them....
Numbers and vowels have colors for me. 1 white-ish, 2 red, 3 yellow, 4 green, 5 brown, 6 dark red, 7 blue, 8 gold-white, 9 dark green, 0 black, A green, E orange, I white, O black, U brown, Y turquoise. Some consonants “feel” like they have color, but far less pronounced.
Also sounds have colors and shapes but that may just be association.
Edit: does synesthesia qualify as neurodivergence? Am I neurodivergent? What does this mean??

Hey there, sure, currently I’m using this. The border between comments on a comment thread doesn’t look the best, but it makes it easier for me to track comment levels so I like it, though there are certain properties I’d like to change but can’t.
Either way, I’m using an extension called Amino to apply my CSS changes on a domain-level.
This fixes a lot of the whitespace and borders to make differentiating between posts and comments a little easier, while minimizing white space. I think it looks nice.
EDIT: I’ve made a few more changes in terms of color.
Hey so just a heads up, I made a few more changes that I quite like (again, for the red theme, tweak appropriately for the default green theme), so thought I’d just update you.
This changes the main feed quite a bit, adding a bit more of a card-like design to posts, though I have done my best to make sure there isn’t too much white-space from this change, I just feel it looks a bit more modern, but again, feel free not to use it :)
It also, and this is my favorite change, changes the title color of any post you’ve visited, something that I feel is basic but for some reason Lemmy didn’t have before. So now any posts you’ve visited before will be a light-gray color instead. Hope you find some value here.
