Feature request: Swipe through image posts in feed
I think it would be cool to be able to swipe left/right when viewing an image post from the feed or in a community and be able to go from post to post like a slideshow.

No, seriously, I’m going tuna fishing, so don’t expect much development for the next week and a half....
If this is already possible and I’m just not finding it, I’d be very happy to be mistaken and learn the method. Otherwise, this is something I used all the time on the old site with Apollo and I miss, desperately....
Voyager is my daily driver sofar. ~The only thing that bothers me is that blocking a community is quite the number of clicks away. ~...
I am hoping that it might be possible for customization of icons or actions below a post....
When scrolling the feed with compact mode on, thumbnails are loaded while posts are shown....
I’m loving Voyager and recently switched it to my main app instead of Memmy. I do have 2 requests that I would like implemented, if possible....
This has probably been requested before, but can we get mod tools please?
It might be the same with posts but I haven’t tried that yet.
One of my favorite Apollo features was I could be in the middle of a deep comment section. Swipe back to the homepage, then swipe over into where I left off in the comments. I believe this was handled by edge swipes vs swipes from not quite the edge for up/down votes. No idea how it remembered location....
Hello!...
Setting the app icon for Voyager seems to only apply to the icon shown for the app on the selected screen, but it does not for example apply to the icon shown for the running apps carousel.
I have Mark Read on Scroll and Hide read posts button enabled in settings. I’ve used the PWA and iOS app. Read posts still appear in my feed after hiding. Sometimes I have to click hide twice or the top posts are already read. Eventually after scrolling for some time, read posts either take over the feed (including posts hid...
I’m starting to combine releases into one announcement post - and new features and bugfixes may not be officially announced here - so be sure to follow the Github releases to see what’s new!...
Sometimes I accidentally hide posts by swipe gesture....
I updated Voyager from Play Store today and now there’s no gesture vibration (like when swiping to upvote/downvote, etc.). It was working fine before. Can the dev please add a toggle to enable/disable vibration in settings? Edit: Just found out the toggle is present. It’s enabled but there’s no vibration.
Not sure if it’s just a setting that I’m missing, but a button to jump to the next parent comment would be a great QOL addition....
It’s becoming increasingly necessary to be able to tell what instance a community is being posted to.
Would love to see some themes! Right now “themes” are more like “change accent color.”...
For the android app… Is anyone else having an issue with the app reloading after leaving the app and coming back? I can open my task switcher and go use another app and then when I come back, everything reloads. Trying to see if it’s the app or just my phone being aggressive with the ram.

Is there an option to see the entire local feed of an instance I don’t have an account on within Voyager? Or even to subscribe to that feed? It seems especially useful for smaller instances that separate their discussions into smaller communities. This could be country specific instances for example.
It’s very nice to see that X people liked a post/comment and Y people disliked it instead of just having a singular “goodness/badness” rating. It (literally, in a mathematical sense) adds a whole new dimension to post ratings and gives us a more nuanced understanding of people’s opinions. Plus, it feels a lot better to...
You can set the default view through lemmy in the browser to always default to All, Home or Local but voyager doesn’t seem to respect the setting. Is there another way? I have to switch from Home to All every single time I open the app
