Star Trek Resurgence Giveaway

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing fine and are well prepared for the winter holidays!

We at Dramatic Labs want to sweeten the festive season a little and are therefore giving away a total of 10 copies of Star Trek Resurgence on a platform of your choice (PS4, PS5, Xbox or PC).

Star Trek: Resurgence is a narrative-driven adventure game created by former members of Telltale Games that delivers all the excitement and wonder of the Star Trek universe. Join the crew of the U.S.S. Resolute as first officer Jara Rydek and enlisted engineer Carter Diaz on a mission to prevent an eons-old and powerful force from engulfing everything in its wake!

To take part, you have to comment on which Star Trek games you grew up with and which one was your favourite. The 10 winners will be randomly selected and contacted by me. The giveaway will run until 21st December 23:59 CET.

We would also be very happy if you visit us on our socials:

roofuskit,

Star Trek: 25th Anniversary

halcyoncmdr,

Growing up I wasn’t really into Star Trek games sadly. I grew up with Voyager in it’s initial run, but I didn’t really play any games until Star Trek Online. However, that game I’ve played since it was a closed beta, and lifetime subscription.

astrozoli,

I started with Star Trek Birth of Federation played a lot with it. Later I really enjoyed Klingon Academy, Bridge Commander and Elite Force series. Armada was nice, but everyone else was playing Star Craft

Bitswap,

Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force!! I both loved and hated that game

Growing up there weren't a lot of Star Trek games. The closest thing I had was Trek on my IMSAI 8080 in the 70s as well as the Star Trek pinball game and then the Star Trek Arcade game in the early 80s.

In the mid 80s I tried Kobayashi Alternative which was a buggy mess that crashed perpetually, but did enjoy The Promethean Prophecy,

However the games after that overall just were pretty bad until Starfleet Command, in which I always enjoyed that series with III getting more hours than the rest. Elite Force series had some good (and bad) ones in it as well but nothing the RTS features of Starfleet Command always got me.

Acamon,

I got my Trekkie mom the Star Trek 25th Anniversary game for christmas, but I defitnely ended up playing it more myself!

PorkTaco,

Judgement Rites and 25th anniversary. Judgement Rites was the very first game we bought for our first PC, actually. Had some absurd number of 2.5 inch disks…

electric,

Just wanted to say it’s really neat to have a giveaway for a Star Trek game here. :)

I know right? Really glad to see them embracing the Fediverse.

eluvatar,

Man what games didn’t I play as a kid.

  • ST Armada 1 and 2 (FleetOps)
  • Birth of the Federation
  • ST Borg
  • Elite force 1 and 2
  • The DS9 FPS which I forget the name
  • Bridge commander
  • ST Dominion War
  • Starfleet command 3

There’s probably some I’m forgetting. I’d have to say Armada 2, man I played so many hours of that game. Played around with mods as a kid too.

SteadyGoLucky,

I clearly remember screaming a lot of “Ferengan Ha’DIbaH!” in the microphone for Star Trek: Klingon.

duplexsystem,

I played Star Trek Pinball lol

nightwatch_admin,

The IRL. pinball machine? Oh man that was my favourite!

catboss,

There is none I grew up with, so I can’t name a favorite either. Neither did we own the platforms most of the games released on. I only ever got into Star Trek later in life.

clay_pidgin,

Honestly the first one I remember was the VCR board game! EXPERIENCE BIJ! boardgamegeek.com/…/star-trek-next-generation-int…

I have played the heck out of ST:Armada and some of Elite Force 1. There was a really bad WII game too, whose name I forgot.

Mr_Blott,

Oh god, I remember my 20s; seeing in the new millennium and beyond playing Episode 1 Racer for days with my mate John on his Playstation ;)

My favorite Star Trek game of all time was the video board game with the Klingon host. I had everything from the Nightmare games so this was the next logical step and we loved it to even though it was cheesy as all get out.
