Bitswap,

Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force!! I both loved and hated that game

Bitswap,

The first line of that article supports putting the lid down…and so do subsequent statements…

Research has found that flushing the toilet with the lid down could reduce airborne particles by as much as 50%

The research found that putting the toilet lid down reduced the number of both visible and smaller droplets during and after flushing by 30-60%

Lid down causes 30-60% reduction of droplets in the air but they stay in the air longer…

Lol. You are ignoring your own article source…but I’ll leave you to your incorrect understanding.

I’ll also note that the only source you’ve provided has no data or supporting research paper behind it. Just an article.

Bitswap,

Stardew valley and/or kerala space program.

Bitswap,

Never heard of mumbai flight simulator. In KSP you design, build and then fly rockets, planes, space planes and spacecraft. It’s a one of a kind game.l

Bitswap,

LOL. Didn’t notice at all. I tip my hat to you, sir!

Bitswap,

I’m also into RaWorld!

Bitswap,

That product will never exist as there are only a handful of customers who would want it and even less who would pay for it.

Also, lookup the MTBF reports. It’s more likely that all your Client systems will fail before a switch does.

@tabletopminis Hey everyone. I recently went to a miniature store to pick up some more premium paints for my miniatures I'm 3D printing for DnD. While I was there I saw a really nice paint cup for brushes. I knew I could get a model offline so I didn't buy it and instead opted to print one. I found a really nice one, but it lacked that little extra something. So I modified the original design and added the DnD logo. I think it turned out really nice.
What do you guys think?

Bitswap,

What printer are you using?

Is the photo super zoomed in? Or are your layers that visible?

Bitswap,

Figured it was quality/speed settings. Just was curious. What printer are you running? I’m runnning a prusa Mk3+, but I’ve been reading about the bamboo X1C alot lately. I might end up buying one tonight…

Bitswap,

Agreed. Started casually listening a few months ago. The content quality is so high! Started with the first few then jumped around. So far I’ve liked every episode I’ve listened too.

Bitswap,

No straps? Middle of the US somewhere?

Bitswap,

Hard disagree. Nothing comes close to MATLAB + Simulink. Nothing is even trying to cover the same usages.

Bitswap,

You can do anything with python. Just like you can do anything with C/C++. It’s a matter of time and knowledge. MATLAB + Simulink beats python hands down, that’s why it’s so widely used for controls. Why waste time and money to customize python to do everything.

You can walk anywhere…but I bet you don’t only use that mode of transport (i.e. you bicycle, drive a car, ride the bus/subway, fly, etc.)

Bitswap,

Will have to check it out. It’s a new name to me.

Bitswap,

Exciting news. I loved watching the nasa channel when I was younger. It had lots of boring content, but was the only way I knew how to watch launches when you are nowhere near a spaceport/launchsite.

Hope the put some funding towards educational content.

Bitswap,

the best of the best, of course!

Bitswap,

Second vote for hiking project.

I think it just matters where you live. I’m in the PNW and it has a ton of info on the local trails around me. Love that its offline too.

Does anyone here harvest rainwater?

Up until very recently, I’ve never lived anywhere where I had the space to set up an outdoor garden. I’ve been fortunate to finally own a property where I can, and I’m really enjoying it. So far I’ve set up an 8 x 25 garden plot, planted 4 fruit trees, and have a thriving wildflower garden in front of the house. I have a...

Bitswap,

I only use water catchement for the chickens water…since the other choice is to lug water across the property. Water is heavy. It only works for ~8 months of the year too. It’s a 50gal barrel, that is full all fall/winter/spring and dry durring the summer.

Bitswap,

It amazes me that this is a first of its kind of operation. Seems insane that no one has tried it before…

Bitswap,

JWST is so amazing. It’s common that space missions outperform everyone’s expectations, but it’s quite rare when it completely blows all the expectations out of the water.

Hats off to anyone who participated in this herculean effort.

Sounds about right…

Bitswap,

Disagree that it’s more enjoyable than going to the theaters. There is a social aspect of going to movies with friend groups that’s hard to replicate at home. People don’t have space to fit 12 friends to comfortably watch a new release.

Bitswap,

Hey sabbah. I’m also an avid gardener in addition to my space hobbies. I’d love to lend a hand as a mod over here as well. After moving a few times, I’ve only got a medium sized garden(~800 sqft.), a cold frame, some grapes, berries and an apple tree that the elk abuse every year no matter how I try to fence it in/protect it.

Bitswap,

Hey, I’m late to the party, but interested in modding if the need is still there. I have zero experience modding a community, but have interests across the board relating to space. Still on-boarding to lemmy. I’ve been around for a few weeks and happy I joined.
