The left bar nav wouldn’t load for me until I added one to my profile!!

When reading a web page within Connect, it would be nice if long-pressing on links in the webpage would give a popup with the option to open the link in an external browser (and probably also an option to just copy the link). I frequently find myself linked to Wikipedia from a Lemmy comment, and then want to open other links...

This is definitely the best Lemmy app I’ve used but I think some changes to how images work could make it feel a lot more smooth. Making it more like how Sync handles it is what I’m going for. Being able to double tap then hold and drag to zoom in or out is super convenient. I also like the shorter distance to drag to close...

Let me explain. When I enable the ratio of votes I can fully understand what’s going on, however when I click it to make a vote it won’t be counted (I checked it via browser). Furthermore, if I use swipe, it works, but opening a post after voting won’t show me my vote, that’s odd. Hopefully, it will be fixed....

Recently I’ve noticed that there’s a slight delay between tapping on a post to view it and when it actually opens. I realized that this must be to support double-tap voting, as the app has to wait for the full double-tap timing window after your first tap to determine if you were going to perform a double-tap to vote or if...

On Lemmy’s standard interface there’s a crosspost option, which copies the current post to a new community. Can we have this feature added to Connect please?

I’ve been reporting some stuff and the admins/mods aren’t quite happy there is no report reason provided… can we make that feature more useful for them, instead of just flagging the content?

(Using beta .077) If not an option, maybe just make that the default behavior? That’s how it works for the top bar....

So… I think this is pretty self-explanatory - it would be nice if we could have the app follow the systemwide theme, but still customise how the light and dark themes look. An immediate example would be to be able to use a light theme during the day and the AMOLED theme during the night.

I’ve compared profile view with connect and other apps, even with the web version. And i see points indicated in profiles viewed with connect....

I don’t think any of the other Lemmy apps are showing a total score. It doesn’t work in Connect regardless. My score was approaching 250 (showed close to 400 viewing from another instance). If you delete posts or comments it really goes off. Current score is less than 30. My account on another instance shows zero. Not sure...

When comments are very long, it can push the text box for replies towards the bottom of the screen. If the keyboard is pulled up to add to the text box, it will cover the box and make it so the response cannot be seen unless the keyboard is dismissed....
