Some more spitballing from a noob here, but I wonder if much thought has been given to account portability between Lemmy instances, or even Fediverse apps in general....

So I’ve been trying to get myself accustomed to this place and understand whats going on....

I was just thinking I’d like to make some UI tweaks - I like dark themes but the dark theme is a little hard to parse for me here....

Is there a way that users could cohost an instance? If there isn’t, I think that would be a great feature to implement. Having a situation where instances slow down or even occasionally disconnect will be hard on any community. I feel like it could eventually cause people to prefer using instances owned by large and well...

Drive we are so privacy focused here. What is to prevent myself or anybody out there, from starting to report individual instances of GDPR and CCPA....

When you step outside the fediverse and try to talk to others about it on corporate platforms, chances are you’ll either get, “Yeah that’s too complicated” or “Isn’t it full of [insert bad people here]?” or some variation thereof, at least if they’ve heard of it at all. Working on an awesome Macro/Microblogging project to bring to the Fediverse. Very excited as it has been built based on hundreds of users feedback regarding Mastodon and the Fediverse. I know time is precious so not looking to suck up anyones time. I respect whatever bandwidth people have to give.
