This is a cry for help. I have a Monoprice Voxel which is basically a Flashforge Adventurer 3. Owned for about 3 years now, and still have only a slight idea as to what I am doing. I have been successful with small prints, little thin walled custom functional prints, and they do fine. Trying to print anything longer than 3 hours...

I actually have Marlin + Octoprint but found out recently that Klipper exist. I read everywhere that Klipper is better but I don’t really get why. I understand that Klipper use raspberry as powerfull calculator instead of the STM32 of the printer, but octoprint is used to send Gcode to Marlin too… So what’s the really...

I modeled an object in Blender intending to print it, but when I import it into PrusaSlicer or Cura, the dimensions don’t quite match....

SOLVED The serial settings are fine, I just had the wrong display type defined in the firmware. I’m a very paranoid person apparently....

Hi folks, I’ve had my ender 3 v2 for around 2 years and it’s been trouble-free until lately. Recently, I’ve had major issues with the first layer. I found a few worn components, so I got a dual gear extruder and replaced the nozzle, recald the esteps, bed level and z offset. Nothing I do seems to work....

Trying to reduce the amount of constant maintenance the my ender 3 printers require and one of the biggest issues i’m having is a buildup of sticky residue inside the ptfe tube inside the hotend/ptfe tube. It’s not leaking as i visually inspect before cleaning and i can see where the tube connects and there’s a clear line...

This is my first time working with wood filament and it occurred to me that if it’s 30% wood fiber then I might be able to get a strong bond with regular old Elmer’s glue. Has anyone tried this?

As the title says. I’m new to 3d printing and I’m looking for tips on how make two parts fit together nicely. I’ve read 0.4mm clearance between the two parts modelled together is a nice rule of thumb.

Edit: Fixed by replacing the main board. I probably could have just added a BLTouch which was considered, but the USB port was unusable and I need that. I’m keeping the old board to mess around with it for later though. Possible good learning experience to be had....
