Just got a Switch after decades of PlayStation loyalty.
My wife got me a Switch for my 36th birthday after years away from Nintendo and I gotta say it feels good to be back. The N64 was a big part of my youth....

I finally got the dreaded over storage warning from google today. What is everyone moving to these days? People were moving to dropbox advance but i heard its not really unlimited anymore. I have 30TB of data that can’t be reproduced (family videos and photos). Any recommendations? I prefer not to spend $100+ a month on...
Star Trek’s level of medical care is far more advanced than today’s. As Beckett says in LD, “Doc will wave a light over it.” Yet, in Star Trek people aren’t shown doing hobbies and pastimes that are much different from what’s done now. Still, I wonder about differences in a society where people know they won’t be...
I see so many posts where a discussion about the best options for privacy/security related software are dominated by comments about how some entity always felt shady, they can’t be trusted and so on. How having optional things like crypto is the epitome of evil practices, even though it may have nothing to do with how the...
I tried many app, they don’t list post/comment I already upvoted....

I’m aware you can do so with kbin but not sure about Lemmy. It’d be great to declutter my subscriptions list!
I would like to contact them in case there’s a contributor who wants to take over the !issue_tracker community and the bot account since it’s giving me more trouble than I expected, and I’m no longer going to be using it.
I know it was posted some time ago but can’t find it plus the fact that fdroid subreddit is private doesn’t help me

Really gave GW2 a chance about a month ago and it seems like the best MMO I’ve played, and I was kind of blown away my first time playing fractals, it felt like if WoW were actually fun. Overall the game feels more fleshed out compared to WoW tbh
Hi I am finding it extremely frustrating that the provided docker compose does not work. and documentation is non existent for docker pixelfed installation. Does the internal/external networking ever work? What file/folder permissions I have to set? Please help....
Simple question, difficult solution. I can’t work it out. I have a server at home with a site-to-site VPN to a server in the cloud. The server in the cloud has a public IP....
What are microblogs in kbin ? Can a microblog be posted in a profile? Or can a microblog be posted only in a magazine?
Been looking for RPI4 CMs for ages now and they’ve been sold out for as long as I can remember. Same with full size RPI4s and some Odroids. Is this just the new normal or are SBCs and CMs going to show up on the market again at some point?
Is there a book you’ve read you wish you could go back and give to your younger self and say, “read this!” or a book you read and you’re mad you’ve gone through however long being oblivious to how good it is?
I’ve often wondered this. I have a few possible answers, but I’m curious what you all think.
I didn’t know Ron, Huyen and Mishaal had kicked off a new show last week. I’m glad they did. Has a completely different vibe to the others I’ve tried. I gave up on Android Central. Material podcast wasn’t my thing. I still listen to Android Police because of Daniel and Ara. I even gave Tech News Weekly a shot because...
Since Yelp lets businesses pay to revise reviews and advertise for top results, I was wondering if there were any good open source/non-monetized review sites or apps that people have tried out? I usually compare to google reviews and read some of the top reviews to try and filter out the junk, but I know I’m still getting...
