Germany is struggling to get people on-board with a green energy movement that involves banning high footprint domestic heating systems (e.g. gas boilers)-- thus forcing people to migrate to heat pumps. A low-income family who was interviewed said it would cost €45k to install a heat pump in their terraced home in Bremen....
The annual fee will rise by 6.6% - less than the BBC hoped for - based on September's rate of inflation.
Looks like UK is going the same way as a few states. Spare a thought for us. So messed up this increasing surveillance state.
It seems animal rescue is all part of the job for firefighters in Russia too but in Smolensk it was a bit more serious than a cat up a tree.
