I’m looking into self hosted and open source nvr options and frigate looks like the right fit for me. I’m curious what hardware others are running it on and how many cameras they have. How many people are running it in home assistsnt?

I’m using a PaperWM which is a scrolling window manager extension for Gnome, and I love it! But it’s an extensive extension which means it is sometimes brittle. I like NPR and PBS but am curious if there are other good news sources elsewhere. Particularly elsewhere in the world, outside of the US.

Basically the title, really. From what I can find so far these are either dead torrents or downloads from very questionable sources. There’s the Russian DVD ISO rips on Internet Archive, but I can’t get it to install on my PC for whatever reason....

Every time I google a solution for a simple problem (like where to find a feature of a software in its menus or how to calculate something) I always have to navigate past the dozen youtube links to find the article or manual that tells me the solution in 10 lines of text....
