as long as it has the features i am looking for then no worries. i used to use software like TuneUp from 2014 and didnt bother to upgrade iy or look up a new key for it, as long as it got the job done. much appreciated :)
i know it sucked, maybe i should have acted that way. in fact 1 day ago i posted complaining why there are duplicate communities everywhere, i was downvoted to oblivion, but after self-reflection, this should be a feature of the fediverse. afterall my posts are crossposted with few seconds in intervall, so one could scroll throu them quite quickly, its not like a bot spamming posts but i get ur feel. remark noted 👈
I like to control the network bandwidth of each process/app on my linux, both ways (download, and upload), as well as my pc overall bandwidth. is that achievable on Linux ? Thanks

lemmy.world/c/3ds lemmy.ml/c/mlb lemmy.world/c/reddevils (go post in feddit.uk or something) lemmy.world/c/hololive
I constantly find myself blocking not accounts mostly because I don’t care about their content, plus certain communities I have no interest in like sports stuff could easily be blocked by using text strings with wildcards...
if script doesn’t work, ur home instance probably have a weird name that doesn’t include the “lemmy” word, like mine now, so u add (for exemple) infosec.pub to the match content box in settings. hmu if encountered trouble.
u can use those scripts on android too, using firefox beta or nightly and enabling custom extensions on firefox, and adding violentmonkey to ur custom add-on collection.
also disable bot accounts in the lemmy web settings, so u wont see bot posts.
its native in android 11, but there are apps that could do it, if ur phone is capable enough. video is 1080p resolution, but imgur make it in gif format :/
throws runtime error. i asked for this feature before. Just drawing dev’s attention on Alexandrite, if of any use. Alexandrite doesn’t have Connect features, which are many. While Connects lacks only few maybe
if cyclists dont have dedicated lanes somewhere, they need to have a license of some sort, ‘specialist’ cyclist, driving bicycle license, anything, to keep traffic in order
insurance won’t be happy to hear that a cyclist has broken ur expensive audi side mirror, just because he decided to stroll between cars waiting at traffic
