I’m wondering the same, I tried different stuff to see if I could get more dialogues, but apparently if there’s anything new I’m screwed. A shame because a big part of my RP in act 1/2 was based on the relationship with Minthara, sigh.
I went down that rabbit hole once and it’s really hard to find a foss app that is enjoyable to use and actively maintained. Condution (www.condution.com) seems to be one of them but I never tried it as it looks a bit too much for what I personally need.
Not open source but e2e encrypted and privacy focused is lunatask (lunatask.app). They have a free plan and you can get access to the iOS beta (the app is fully functional). I don’t used it anymore but I paid for Lunatask and it helped a lot making order in my brain and switching from bloated apps to a more minimal todo approach. It’s highly opinionated, but it implements more than one “method”.
Currently I’m using github.com/sodenn/2do-txt because I switched to the todo.txt method, which better fits my need for a more minimal approach to those things. The app has ios/macOS version (with tauri build replacing electron) and you can sync with whatever you want (i use syncthing).
Hope it helps, the todo landscape on ios is a nightmare.
With so much note taking apps nowadays, I can’t understand why does anyone still write notes with pen and paper. You need to bring the notepad, book or that paper to retrieve that information, and most of the time you don’t have it in hand. While my phone almost always reachable and you carry when you go out. For those still...
This. Plus as a subjective thing: I personally remember stuff more easily when I write them down compared to typing. Also my written notes mix bullet points, regular writing, arrows and connections, without having to “switch mode” or install plugins.
I still use note-taking apps, sometimes as primary, sometimes as secondary tool.
We’ve cooked up some statistics highlighting data from the opening weekend following launch and prepared a handy infographic outlining player choices, actions, deaths, and the like. Some inspiration as we head into our second weekend, if you will.
It’s nice to see a good chunk of people going down the evil road. The game does an excellent job in providing gameplay and roleplay rewards for these choices. I’m loving my playthrough so far and I’m always surprised by how many small interactions are there for any possible dialogue or action.
As for the class, me and a couple of friends also chose a paladin for the first character, but switched after act 1. Now I’m playing an evil warlock and holy moly I’m having so much fun.
For real, I have the week off, my gf is out for work, and I played all days since release, and I’m still way way behind 😂 granted I restarted after act 1, but still 😂
For me it’s first person puzzle games. I can think of maybe a dozen off the top of my head that came out in the last decade. I especially enjoy when they’re open world. The ability to just quit a puzzle that’s stumped you and go try something else for a little bit is incredibly refreshing.
Absolutely, I would still play DA:O and even the storylines of SWTOR over some other games that bloat the main story with unnecessary parts because otherwise the game is not long enough.
I love hearing about unique takes on game mechanics. Someone recently convinced me that limited inventories are kind of abused currently and that unlimited inventory systems would give more player choices.
I agree that is clearly broken and overused in many games but if we were able to actually control the walking speed on PC with a keyboard similar to what is possible with a controller, it would probably be more bearable tbh.

Nice, I will try it out. As others have said, seems more a Notion-like than an Obsidian alternative, but still a nice tool. Since using obsidian for more than a year I am used to having my markdown notes visible in my folders and access them also outside the application itself, but I saw I can export them from anytipe in markdown. I’ll give it a try and see how it goes.
I just finished Jedi Survivor. It was a hell of a run, fun, super enjoyable and absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to start the new game + and try to get all the achievements
I discovered today that my most played game on Steam is Astronner with about 500 hours, and my second most played is Surviving Mars with about 500 hours.
I can second Kenshi even if I’ve never been able to go too far into the game. However it is really a gem and I hope I’ll find the time to get back to it

Any FOSS todo app for iOS?
Or at least privacy respecting apps.

What 2FA app are you switching to? (iOS)
As we all know, Ravio has been removed from the recommended multi-factor authentication apps for iOS on PrivacyGuides....
What are some game genres / styles you like that aren't being made anymore, or are being mde but not very often?

For me, it’s either the Matrix or Pulp Fiction. I have seen both a lot of times but certainly not more often than say a dozen times.
In which game did you spend the most hours?
I discovered today that my most played game on Steam is Astronner with about 500 hours, and my second most played is Surviving Mars with about 500 hours.
