ehh… I see a lot of ‘the nazis were pagan not christian’ apologism; their belt buckles say otherwise. the vast majorities were church going christians who had wildly varying records on which sects participated in persecution but overall none stepped up to stop the state’s genocide, so like catholics, they can protest but I’m not convinced.
Wonder if google’s moves on playtesting req’s - requiring testing teams of 20 or more users - is going to be a way to assert the play store is safe/well curated etc…
either way shit’s gonna get worse for indie devs :|
The new federal dental insurance plan will be phased in gradually over 2024, with the first claims likely to be processed in May, government officials said ahead of a formal announcement scheduled for Monday morning.
which strategy overcomes giving people healthcare that actually covers their health?
honest query, not sure how to read this response, and actually jealous because I’m an american (merikafuckyeah no healthcare and bang bang vroom vroom war war) who pays out the nose for dental and my kids’ braces are gonna cost bank even with ‘good coverage’. :(
That’s a really disingenuous way to put it. No private company or conglomerate could bring the economic scientific and manufacturing abilities the US could; fuck, very few countries to this date can. And even then it was still a public private partnership, the same defense companies and ICBM manufacturers built the rockets we rode to the moon.
it reacts. I can’t explain the precise chemistry behind the reaction, but it breaks organic deposits / stains / crud and actually gets funky smells out of the wash. works better than any off the shelf product I’ve tried.
not sure on the precise chemistry involved in the reaction, but it works like a charm for getting stains and smells out of laundry, and takes smells out of counters etc. w/o using harsh chemicals. you should give it a try.
they react, they don’t equalize, and the results do a fine job of cleaning / removing smells. look, I’m not going to try to convince you your understanding of chemistry is incorrect, but try it before you knock it.
washing anything that got moldy (like cloth napkins from the kitchen that sat in the hamper) / funky - I use a solid tablet detergent (blue land plastic free) and a baking soda / vinegar. works great.
Shows Tesla doesn’t have any clue how the labour market work.
They’ve got their own problems here in the US but lax government oversight and weak state rules for labor organization hinder their ability to hold tesla liable for the nooses and robots-crushing-employees and molds exploding and other horrors.
It’s also hard to hold Tesla accountable in the public square when they “don’t have a public relations department” and shit like Musk’s poop-emoji replies to the press.
the part that really makes me heave is that Sony gave them $1.2 billion earmarked for retention, and they gutted multiple longtime departments including people from the Halo days.
Whoever’s making the decisions at the top have gotten real cynical.
I’m curious from a gamedev perspective why you think any of the mechanics are sacrosanct - all economies are fake. they depend on mutual agreement of arbitrary values and systems.

Seems pointless and inconvenient for me as they usually seem to be poor quality, and can you really listen to music in the shower, and are you showering long enough to benefit from it?...
Haha I used to. True story, my wife got me one in 2015 for my bathroom - built into the exhaust fan - I listen to the news while I shower in the morning.
Six months later, over at the neighbor’s house across the street for a block party, and someone asks “Hey, anyone know who’s blasting NPR at 4am every day?”
Turns out the exhaust fan taking the shower moisture out basically turned into a speaker cone and for months everyone on the street was waking up pissed off lol. Replaced with a regular fan and separate speaker, no more complaints.
Yeah I totally came clean, partially because I couldn’t really believe it - the bathroom I use is in the basement - but the vent goes out the same spot as the laundry exhaust and damn… I went and turned it on and it was clear over the block party :| everyone laughed :).
Also live in a place where most sleep with the windows open - I don’t think it was ever in much doubt heh. I’ve got pretty cool neighbors.
Corpse rats, nice. From all the ditch meat russia left to rot where they were shot, for the last two months. Wondered when we were going to see the vermin reaction from that many corpses rotting up the countryside.
Nice work Russia, looks like you’re now the 3rd best army in Ukraine after them and the rats.
