I read some free kindle books back in the day, that probably only a few thousand other people have read, so very plausibly no one on Lemmy has ready....
I didn’t plan on doing that, but thanks for your review nonetheless. If there was a button asking for if this review was helpful that I could press, I would press it

Depends on the cultural rules tho. You can’t just create any community on someone else’s server and feel entitled to not have to follow their rules. There’s a reason why there’s a hirarchy, and the mod not being the admin. The mod can run their own server if they want and/or need to.
Man aber das sieht nicht gut aus. Auf den ersten Blick hatte ich den Eindruck dass die Aussage auf dem Bild und der Gesichtsausdruck die Community hier repräsentieren bzw darstellen soll …
Suppose you win 100 million. What do you actually do with it? Banks only guarantee 250,000. Do you have to invest it? Is there anywhere you can just let it sit and draw interest?
With so much note taking apps nowadays, I can’t understand why does anyone still write notes with pen and paper. You need to bring the notepad, book or that paper to retrieve that information, and most of the time you don’t have it in hand. While my phone almost always reachable and you carry when you go out. Aesthetics mostly, but also it feels more tangible when expressing myself physically, not digitally. Like, I can better recognize what I wrote, because there were more senses involved in writing than there are with typing
Can you please shut the big metal fans outside off before you go to sleep? They use up too much power, and we don’t need them to run during the night, thankyou :)
Pretty much everything. The average person can’t read and write, can’t swim, can’t run or hold a steering wheel with two hands, because the average person doesn’t have two legs and two arms, etc
I think there’s an app for lemmy where you can block posts and comments in your view by specific keywords. Can’t rememeber its name though right now. But it exists
Is this some simple virtue signaling (for closed source app) directed at users that are not technically inclined? I didn’t see this being promoted at this level in any other app.
Now that a lot of the commotion has subsided I’m just curious to know how y’all are finding the Lemmy experience in general and whether you use it regularly like you did reddit?
I personally was in for lemmy since the beginning, actually participated a bit building the first idea for another similar idea in 2018 to the fediverse, but I didn’t have the capacity to participate more.
Now, I love that people seem to enjoy Lemmy and I’m excited for its growth!
I just replaced the gplay link with the fdroid. On github it says ;

On the old site, there were a number of funny video communities with regular posts, for example /r/Unexpected, /r/PublicFreakout, or /r/WhatCouldGoWrong. While there are plenty of memes on Lemmy, we have relatively little video content. Those of you who used to frequent video subs, what have you replaced them with since coming...
I don’t understand your comment, what you are saying. Could you elaborate a bit, please? I’m interested why it’s a bad idea what previous comment suggested.
Of course I can dig into DefCon videos and probably would do if needed, but perhaps you know what exactly the issue is
