Is there any intention to fix printing?

This has been an issue for a long time. I’ve been trying to avoid Chromium based browsers, but Firefox seems to be unable to print a lot of web pages without cutting off the content between pages. This is Firefox specific, as it doesn’t happen with Chromium browsers. It’s really a pain in the ass when I need to print...

theatremaker,

copy paste plain text to text editor or word doc?

theatremaker,

How to un-downvote a post?

theatremaker,

theatremaker,

Sorry, I’m still learning how to be an effective member of our community… you’re right; it’s good that this hilarious green text is shared via multiple channels :)

theatremaker,

So true!!!

theatremaker,

Seems like an old soul in that tiny cute body

theatremaker,

Classic and delicious. Looks like a great texture!

theatremaker,

I found this website really helpful. It rounds up subreddits that existed on Reddit and the places they’ve moved to in the Fediverse.

Best places to get human reviews/recommendations outside of reddit? (kbin.social)

Often times when duckduckgoing (is that the right term for that) advice for products, I use the !ddgr key to directly search reddit for advice. But in a post-blackout world, I need to do this a lot less. So I want to know what the best places are to get reviews and advice for products that are human and not top 10 listicals.

theatremaker,

Is there a buy it for life community here on Lemmy/Kbin yet? If there’s something like that, maybe asking questions here would generate some okay responses. It won’t be as immediate, but it would also help grow the amount of useful info we have in the fediverse.

What is something good happening in your city/town/local area?

My city redesign our downtown roads to have a whole bunch of horrible one ways in the 50s, and we are FINALLY changing back to how it was while making improvements like bike lanes. The first attempt at bike lanes with the current layout was horrible, basically death traps everywhere... Hoping for something better this time, lol....

theatremaker,

They’re adding accessibility to some of the subway stations that are big junction points. When it’s complete, it’ll make it just a bit easier for everyone to use the public transit network downtown, and make certain commutes that were extremely inconvenient a bit more accessible. Hope they keep doing this!

theatremaker,

Been playing around with Limbo as well. Limbo is a bit ahead of Memmy in terms of allowing management of multiple accounts, but Memmy seems more lightweight on my iOS device.

theatremaker,

Agreed. Also funny because this whole thing started because of well-designed native apps in the first place…
