I got half way through the final book before I couldn’t take it anymore.

If he would have only tried to let my imagination fill in become details, it wouldn’t be so bad, but it was a trudge of over detailed explanation of everything.

Everything that spawned because of it was great, but the books themselves really are overrated.

That’s said, I enjoy the movies, solid 8/10.

It’s actually easy to do and you don’t need root access or “drop into the shell”.

Takes about ten minutes if you don’t know what you are doing, and maybe 2 minutes if you do.

I find Linux always breaks on me, and eventually it breaks in a way I am unable to fix. Windows never does this to me, I am always able to fix an issue on Windows.

I would love if Linux was as easy to use, but my personal experience is quite the contrary.

Sure it is easy to set up and get running, but windows is even easier , and then the breaking happens… inevitable and everything time.

Meeting people is easy… finding people with similar interests is nearly impossible. I can find lots of surface level shallow stuff that doesn’t hold much silubstance, but finding someone who cares about the things that make me tick and gets me excited? Naw… It feels like a barren wasteland.

I might be able to find it online, but I want to sit in my backyard with them, chopping wood for the firepit, drinking beer, smoking weed or maybe eating mushrooms, all while we discuss our shared interests in shit like torrenting, movies, games, news, etc, then maybe going on some hikes with our dogs, riding bikes, or kayaking down the river.

I want someone that wants my help with home repairs, who wants my help me in return, and maybe take up a wood working project or two every year
