Recently drove in Scotland where built up areas generally have 20mph speed limits. I found It made little difference in overall journey time Felt safer, stopping distance much reduced Easier to join the traffic Similar speed as cyclists Felt safer and more relaxed as a pedestrian, easier to cross the road

As a guy, you’re essentially paying for the ability to see who liked you. Dating is a seller’s market and the sellers of dreams in the market are women due to numbers. With a subscription, rather than aim for the stars, you’re able to pick the best of the women that are attracted to you?

I have no idea. In any other industry the Match Group wouldn’t be allowed to exist.

I am experiencing weird behavior on both lemmy.ml and lemmy.ca where refreshing, or closing and reopening my browser, will cause me to be logged out. This seems to be an issue with my browser, Firefox 102.13 on Debian Bookworm, but it does not happen with any other sites with logins. I have tried clearing cookies and site data...

I want to install LeneageOS on a unsupported device

Hey, I got a old phone (Motorola e5 cruise) which has a unlocked bootloader. I though about installing leneageOS on it, but it’s not on the supported device, but similar Motorola’s are supported, what do recommend to do? I definitly wanna avoid the risk making it unusuable, but I would rly like to have a alternative...

Preach. I remember watching some documentary about the maternal mortality rates and it’s literally down to doctors and nurses just not giving black women the same care and attention as white women and this isn’t just in America or the UK, it’s worldwide.

And it saddens me that as time goes on, the record labels only promote money and sex rap, so there’s no avenue for young children to learn via music that they need to know stuff like this.

I chose a smaller instance when I joined. Haven’t seen a single dick pick. But ended up blocking some hashtag to avoid Reddit NSFW content stealing.

I think the key to Pixelfed is following hashtags and being busy. I post the occasional pick and generally leave it at that. But it’s a very nice platform.
