Children from 2009 might be older, but there are plenty of children younger than that who still play it. And yes, Roblox porn is probably also there too.
And so the backpedaling begins. Everyone knows suicide squad isn’t the game fans wanted. But they’ve sunk too much into it to pull out now. I dunno how much input James Gunn actually has on the DC games, but it’s telling that even he wants Rockstar Rocksteady to go right back to what they’ve always done best.
Gamers have been asking for a new jet set radio for years, and I know plenty of people who have wanted a new crazy taxi game forever ago. But sure, it was the new Sonic games ‘success’
Last November we had the opportunity to attend an exclusive twenty-minute screening of ‘Dune: Part II’, the highly anticipated second installment of the monumental adaptation of Frank Herbert’s science fiction classic that Denis Villeneuve is carrying out. Of course, it is early to give an opinion, but we can assure that...
Really? I mean it basically hit only half the story beats that Frank Herbert’s Dune did, and it was longer.
Most people I know who complained about it complained about it being too slow at times and consequently boring. Not too fast. I personally thought it was fantastic, and I’m really looking forward to the second part.
About the only time I actually pirate a game nowadays is if it’s not available for me to download day one on Steam. Then if I did like the game, I usually end up picking it up when it makes its way to steam, after it goes on sale.
This new game mode introduced with this version of the game has roguelike mechanics. They showed a series of environments that you would work through one after the other, with random weapon layouts, random enemy spawns, and you gaining resources to upgrade the weapons and go further and basically run till you die. The stringing of environments reminded me of slay the spire, in that it changes every time and you pick your path. But then when you’re in the environment, you’re back to normal TLOU2 gameplay with enemy encounters. I think TLOU2 had enough enemy variety and location variety that this could work really really well. Add in picking your starter character and that character having specific weapons exclusive to them, and this could end up being very fun. The gameplay in the original was fantastic.
The original game did not have any roguelike gameplay, it’s strictly linear story driven gameplay.
Hi there, I know this has been debated for a long time but just trying to understand if this level of backlight bleeding is normal. To add some context, this picture was taken in a dark room with the deck showing a completely black image. Thanks! steam deck picture in the dark
Yeah that’s pretty typical for the LCD model. It’s honestly not too bad when you have content playing that fills the whole screen, and it always looks way worse in a very dark environment.
Mine is like this, but it doesn’t really bother me too much. I’m usually playing in a well lit room though.
As someone with the OG steam deck, and an HDR TV that my main PC and PS5 are hooked up to, I have issues all the time when streaming HDR content to the non HDR display on the steam deck. It tries to convert the image to standard dynamic range, but just blows out the whites and crushes the blacks. I always gotta remember to turn HDR off on my PC before streaming, but it would be really nice not to have to do that.
I moved away from chrome over a year ago, once they started talking about blocking ad blockers. Firefox works great, easily imports your passwords and bookmarks, and supports all the ad block extensions I like.
Google feels ok in doing this due to their dominating share in the browser market. In reality, the most influential users of their products will end up finding alternatives, and never coming back. These users tend to convince other users to follow. It’ll be a slow downturn unless Google ramps up their efforts, but it’ll happen.
I feel like RTS games would be perfect for Tablets with proper touch input. Make the gameplay loop good and the UI easy to use with touch and I’d be playing way more than I would sitting at my PC.
The top of the entire starting page is an ad. You gotta navigate past it to get to your apps. It’s so engrained in your mind that you don’t even realize it’s an ad anymore.

Yeah using the built-in steam deck streaming has been very very poor for me. Like when it works it works great, but when it drops connection just like you. It desyncs and i lose video and it’ll stay like that for minutes.
I switched to using Moonlight and sunshine, though decky and moon deck. and that seems to work a lot better for me. When I desync, the quality temporarily drops, but the game is still playable. And it’ll usually pick itself back up within a couple seconds. Way better than the built-in streaming on Steam, and moondeck will also utilize your custom controller input profile if you have one.

That’s the point for them. They want to make others miserable who don’t agree with them, and beyond that they want to benefit and profit off of others misery.
What you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I’ve ever heard. At no point in your rambling incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having to read it.
Honestly, I was interested in this game until the most recent re-release of the Metal Gear Solid games that Konami’s managed to fuck up.
I now 100% expect to see this game get fucked up too. If Konami can’t even handle the most basic of ports, how could we trust them to actually make a good remake of MGS 3 delta, arguably the best of the MGS series?
We shouldn’t trust them. If you have to get this game, pirate it, or pick it up on a deep deep sale way after it launches. Fuck Konami, They don’t deserve your money.
Crouch walking was in the 3ds remake of 3. I fully expect this to be identical to that version and gameplay with no enhancements to anything except the visuals.
I don’t know if I’d go so far as to say it’s amazing. But it’s totally worth this price.
The pacing is all over, and if you hate radio buddies be prepared for a bad time. The story was also really lame. But if you can get through the halfway point, the game really opens up and gets a lot better. Your skill development follows a fun and challenging curve, and fighting hoards of zombies becomes a lot of fun. It just takes so long to get to that part of the game.
I’m looking to go into Usenet / premiumize / real Debrid but I don’t know which ones are reputable. Which ones have you all had luck with or liked? And what was the cost?
Mine was about 15 minutes after the show started airing in the HBO Max app. Granted it was Game of thrones at the height of popularity. But it blew my mind that I had the episode on Usenet before it finished airing.
