holiday,

Let’s get Hamas to stand in a line and walk into a field about 100ft away from a line of IDF. They can take turns shooting one volley each direction until one side decides to charge.

Cod has been a joke since development was taken from Infinity Ward. Infinity Ward worked on the engine for CoD3 but Treyarch developed the game. The last great CoD was the original Modern Warfare.

holiday,

The original. With private server support.

Except professional chess players exist.

That’s like saying “I can’t believe LeBron James makes money from his basketball hobby.”

holiday,

That’s my entire point. OP equating people who stream/make content/and play WoW out to be hobbiests.

A bunch of idiots switch to Modelo… also owned by AB

Try goodrx, I’m able to get my medicine at a local pharmacy that my insurance won’t pay for at the same price as the chain they try to make me go to.

The company picks the insurance based on the best deal they can get…

But local crazy guy with lots of guns is usually a great place to start.

This isn’t a great take as the infrastructure from GTA3 and Ocarina of Time were already in place for those games.

Kenneth Chesebro, Trump co-defendant in Georgia 2020 election case, pleads guilty (www.cbsnews.com)

Kenneth Chesebro, a Trump co-defendant in the Fulton County criminal election interference case, has entered a guilty plea a day after another co-defendant, Sidney Powell, an attorney aligned with former President Donald Trump, also reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in the Fulton County case....

holiday,

It’s when the plea deals stop that I’ll be really excited.

This looks to be a bonafide shit stain of a game. Can’t wait to see the speedruns of it.

And a continental breakfast. Can’t say no to free juice.

What I want more than anything from the racing sims is a remaster or reimagining of Gran Turismo 2. That single player experience where you start from the bottom with a used car and build up to racing in the S Tier races. Hundreds if not thousands of cars (new and used) from so many manufacturers.

holiday,

You and me both :/

holiday,

That’s because it’s no longer a journalistic article but an editorial.

This comment reads like a summary of every click bait vlog title from 2020.

holiday,

You’re right.

V, someone in their twenties, maybe early thirties, had no life, friends, or business acquaintances or knowledge of the city before the player comes into the story.

I suppose the game should have been 25 hours longer so you could have a sit down meeting with each fixer, get to know them, maybe have some tea with them. Maybe a walking tour of Night City so that everything is spelled out for you would help?

Started a fresh playthrough on the 21st and man the time they put in shows. Really wish companies like CDPR would go the Larian route of funding big projects like this instead of going public. Shareholders ruined CP2077 launch. It should have been delayed a year or two from its original launch. Instead it was rushed and then after launch they had to fix the rushed product before making/finishing the game they wanted to make. If CP2077 released as it is now or even slightly less polished, it would be considered a top 5 game of all time.

Lessons are there to be learned by other studios. Hopefully they are paying attention. Gamers will wait for a great game.

All that being said, I’m excited to hand over $30 now that I’ve seen the game perform. Stoked to see Elba.

Wife and I are actively saving for solar for the house. Incredibly steep entry cost but not having to worry about an electric bill in the increasingly hot summers is going to be worth it.

Not a fan of Team America world police but crippling Russia with a small percentage of our defense budget is a pretty good deal in geopolitics.

I found that even at 3 hours long Oppenheimer was one of the most gripping films I’ve ever seen. Constant tension from not only the ramifications of developing a nuclear bomb, but also the intense and clashing political motives of each of the characters.

Different strokes I suppose.

I haven’t bought an Ubisoft game at launch for over a decade. I don’t plan on starting now. Looks good but my breath is not held.

I doubt WotC/Hasbro wants any module maker or GM tools being released as they plan to drop DnD One next year

'One Chip Challenge' pulled from shelves after mother says spicy tortilla chip contributed to her son's death (www.nbcnews.com)

The kid likely had a preexisting condition or maybe some genetic disposition as hundreds if not thousands of people eat food at that heat level each day without incident.

2060 super user here. I’m assuming you haven’t made it to Act 3? The game has some performance issues there. I happily turned down the graphics to continue playing smoothly but was a tad disappointed.

I’m on my second playthrough though and they have patched it since my first experience so hopefully the evil campaign runs (visually) smoother.

holiday,

I think I read another user said “they treated the time I have to spend on video games with respect.”

And that line has stuck with me.

So while I don’t expect anything close to BG3’s scale or polish but every few years, I do expect not to buy a game and have the game hold its hand out for cash.

YSK that there are a range of medications that can prevent alcoholics and other addicts from relapsing (quillette.com)

If you or one of your loved ones is struggling with this its worth knowing and worth asking your doctor about. Article mainly discusses generic anticonvulsants that have proven beneficial, but there are others such as Naltrexone that can also be helpful.

holiday,

I went cold turkey and the first week felt like a nightmare. I know everyone is different so a multitude of options is very good. Props to you for being a supportive wife. My wife helped me through my addiction immensely and I’ll never be able to repay her for the amount of support she gave me. I’m 2.5 years sober now and feeling great.

I try to find ways to sho my thanks to her everyday and our marriage is significantly better because of me overcoming my urge to drink.

(Used to be 8-12 beers on work nights, drink until blackout on weekends)

I did not see this reply until now. Just want to say keep it up man! I’m proud of you! Would also echo the medical detox if you’re dependent.

@3dprinting Two weeks ago I showed part 1 of a dwarven ruin my DND group was exploring. Today I have a follow up. All 3d printed of course.

This looks like Dwarven forge

I’m surprised share holders of a lot of big companies aren’t demanding WFH. Office space is one of the larger chunks of overhead for a company (not just the space but utilities, supplies, maintenance/cleaning).

My guess is as leases are coming to an end that companies will definitely think twice before signing when WFH is an option.

My current job has us in the office a few days every 6-8 weeks and if it went to anymore than that the majority of the team I’m on would quit. It’s pretty easy to find work right now with unemployment below 4%

I know this is just conjecture but my mind immediately assumes “cold” storage from centuries ago. Root/veggie cellar, beer/wine cellar, etc.

300-500ml of beer will rehydrate you faster than 300-500ml of water.
