Yeah, I’m rather to eastern-european for a amarican. And there’s more guesswork in the article than there is any relation to logic. Guy states defense gives massive advantage, points out what decides of battlefields, and then glides over the issue of how that will favor Ukraine, particularly in winter, and trips out about what might have happened during some talks, but really he has nothing to back it up either way. Same as for the threefold increase in production. Or how Putin would go about mobilizing this massive population, even if he bothered to check the demography stats of it’s age, or considered why they seem to be very afraid to do so.

I’d be quite interested in a well researched article on Russian chances of winning, but this is some conservative rag bullshit.

I had some of my classes (14-15yr olds) assemble their own computers as the first class. It was cheap junk anyway, and I was willing to risk it, but it set the stage for the year. I dont think I got them to install system on it (whole school run on Linux btw), thats a great touch. And making it into something that entertaining, and stereotypes breaking is brilliant!

The article doesn’t differentiate between firing at perceived thread and hitting some party-goers and opening fire at the party-goers en mass, and them being killed only by IDF and not at all by Hamas. As much as I can easily believe IDF killed at least some this reeks of propaganda.

From what I’m seeing support was voiced for the state, not for it’s communist party. In Russia they have 57 out of 450 in the lower chamber and 4 out of 178 in the higher chamber, in Belarus it’s 11 out of 110 and 17 out of 64 (thanks to over-representation of state sanctioned trade unions, independent ones were destroyed after last elections). So what exact power over state politics do you expect they have and how representative is these states policy for communism?

I get the NATO bashing, but thinking either Russia or Belarus have anything in common with the concept of communism, other than history, is hilarious and strongly encourage you to discuss this with Russia-based communists. Wont go into discussing the nature of post-soviet communist parties as I have no time to educate westeners on the complex realities of this region, please do find someone from the region who you will trust enough to actually consider what they tell you.

In reality it’s not only radicals that you write of but it’s also our comrades, long time antifa, anarchist and communist militants that are dying fighting back against yet another imperialist incursion into CEE from Russia.
