Yeah I’m missing something, it’s almost actually the same like they moved a couple buttons and search is in a different place. I don’t understand the hate.
When I was growing up through the 90s in America this was a pretty normal thing too. I drank a lot of milk as a child. Like I have a lot of anxiety now but other than liking trains I don’t really seem that autistic.
I have a Debian distro on my 7 year old low end laptop that I don’t use often and last time I used it I found out that now it no long wakes from sleep oray e locks up when going to sleep I’m not sure which. Pretty sure it started after updates but who knows what happened.
Nah this stuff is full on spyware having a VPN wouldn’t stop it from triggering. This is the software Josh Sugar had installed on his PC turns out partitioning the hard drive and installing another OS will get around it.
I’ve always been curious, because I’m not fond of underwear, but I don’t know how people make it work. Wouldn’t you have to wash the trousers every single day? How else would you keep them fresh? Do you use special deodorant for the area or panty liners on the trousers?...
I do loop swoop and pull but I’m not 100% neurotypical. I did learn as an adult that swooping over instead of under makes your laces much less likely to come undone and since then haven’t ever double knotted my laces.

I’m taking down my big Supermicro server to save energy and moving Plex/Jellyfin/*arr to a spare 10th gen Intel NUC with SSDs. Performance is fine for DirectPlay media to my SHIELD and mobile devices, but the onboard GPU power is limited and struggles to even transcode some 1080p media – let alone 4K. Does anyone have...
I agree something isn’t right, I have Plex on an HP Chromebook G2 with a Celeron 3865U, it’s a 1.8ghz dual core without HT, and I had it doing like 15-20 1080p streams during testing. Quick sync is amazing.
I bought a breadboard power supply and the options to feed it power are a barrel jack and usb-a. Considering the size of the thing mini or micro would have made way more sense.
Or like saying usb-a to usb-c adapters don’t exist because they’re not part of the standard but we all have like six of those damn things even though we’ve never actually bought a single one.
Are they? Everything I can find seems to say they aren’t.
I remember when the first usb-c Macbooks hit stores Apple didn’t have usb-a to c adapters for sale because they weren’t in spec, a lot of reviews mentioned that.
Three years ago I looked into properly wiring hotends with quick toolhead swapes and came up with this: Combining the entire hotend wiring into 3x shielded 4-conductor cables (thin cables for small drag chains with tiny bending radius) and options to terminate the shield. The static side features an USB-port to retrofit...
I just put a toolhead board on one of my ender 3s a couple weeks ago, it was a pain in the ass and not necessary in any way but I’ve since pulled the toolhead off twice and both times it was nice just detaching the single connection and being able to move to my desk to do the work.

Not to poo poo on your theory because this is all fake anyways but to your point brains are weird and we make shit up all the time when we can’t or just don’t understand how something works.
I had a friend recently who was on flomax, which is a prostate drug but they were treating his kidney stone, he said when he finished it came out like a puff of dust. I’ll let him know he should have stopped.
Easy peasy, just go turn one island + lotus petal, turn 2 Island crack petal for blue, cast show and tell putting Giant Ankheg into play. Boom 8/8 on turn two in your green deck!

You’re right, I bought my first printer at the beginning of last year I kind of know what reprap is but is be willing to bet my neighbor who bought his first a year plus before me probably has never heard the name.
Hello, I’m looking for some help with my newly installed Creality Sprite Pro. I spent a few hours yesterday getting it installed onto my Ender 3 and getting my Klipper configs all up to date but for whatever reason once i moved on to setting my E Steps i noticed the printer would not extrude filament. I reseated the extruder...
Did you change the e-steps at all before trying to extruder or are you still using the setting from the old extruder? With the setting for the old extruder the gear reduction on the Sprite might make the filament not look like it’s even when the stepper is turning.
I just installed an orbiter on one of my ender 3s and the first test i still had my e-steps set on the marlin default and I’m not sure the filament moved at all.
For those of you who use Raspberry Pi’s in your home environment, I’m curious as to what you use them for. What applications are you running on them? Do you have your Pi’s setup in a cluster?
I’ve recently returned to the hobby, after some lifestyle changes brought on by the pandemic. It’s been a lot of fun catching up on the latest developments, like the emergence of Bambu, etc. My printer is an Ender 3 from Sainsmart, bought in late 2019. I’m guessing it’s one of the earliest hardware revisions. I printed a...
That should all be fine, I’m pretty sure the cable in the Sprite pro upgrade kit terminates into jst connectors for the old style boards.
As for octoprint it will run with Klipper but I think it has trouble when trying to push speed, seems like most people recommend mainsail or fluid for the Klipper host.

I’m considering making some upgrades to my ender 3 Pro, such as one of the multi material upgrades, but that would require more motors. Anyone know of a good motherboard? Thanks!
My default response is BTT E3 mini v3.0 but since you’re looking to add more steppers something like a BTT Manta might be the way to go. Another option with Klipper is you can use multiple boards, I’ve only looked into this but you can use something like the E3 mini running Kilpper and then use the stock creality board to run up to 4 other steppers plus whatever. You’re going to need a system running Linux for Klipper either a raspberry pi, a VM, or just a cheap PC you’re not using.
Anyways, Just get another board that handles klipper and just add it? Is there a specific “USB to Stepper” board, or do I just hotwire in another motherboard.
Most control boards will let you know if they run Klipper in the listed specs and the stock ender 3 pro boards do run it, at least the 4.2.2 and newer boards do. You could probably even run an Arduino with an external stepper driver if you wanted to go real jank but I wouldn’t recommend that as a second board.
I have the Ender 3 Pro with the “magical probably wont burn down your house” power supply, is that enough for another board, if I’m running another stepper?
The stock PSUs that come with the 3 pros are 350 watts and are mainly that big for heating the bed. Adding another stepper to the printer shouldn’t tax that much more.
If you are looking at going the Klipper route there’s a bunch of good install guides, I think Nero3d has a pretty good one and most the big printing YouTube seem to have done one at some point. Just beware they’re usually guides for running the host on a raspberry pi so you’ll have to figure out those parts using your own setup.
Of you have a model file there’s services online, someone else jlpcb and I’m pretty sure shape ways is still a thing. You usually can fine printing services on eBay too.

If you want to pull the gear off the end of the stepper you have there’s gear pullers you can print that will do the job, other wise just match the size mean 17 40mm. Just make sure to check the point on the motor when you get it to make sure it matches what creality has going on.
