Neither. Software engineer are not true engineers in a sense that they don’t require a certification. So it’s just a title. Most boot camps are for full stack, but I guess some are software engineer boot camps. That or the fact that they get a job as such title with only a boot camp.
Yes :‘( I thought degree and projects is all you need. I laughed at those lazy group members, but the joke is on me as some of them now have a job in CS and I don’t (they had an IT job or relative in the industry) Here I’m going on 2 years and I’m still waiting for employers to line up. Or even just one one unsolicited which isn’t spam. :’(

The designer then goes on to give a rather rosy view of what AI technologies may be able to do down the line. “There is a ray of hope for those of you out there who would like to see Alice’s story continued,” says McGee. "And that is that the design bible, the complete story, the artwork, all of the chapters, the weapons, the enemies, everything that you could need to develop the new game: it all exists inside of the design bible that we produced.
“This thought is going to be controversial for some people but, mark my words, in a few years it will be something that makes a lot of sense for a lot of people out there. And that is that the design bible, as produced, is the perfect thing to feed into an AI system to have it completely build the game that is outlined in that design bible.”

Uh… huh. What year did you graduate? Oh 20 years ago? (Hmm if you graduated in your 20s and that was 20 years ago… That would make you over 40) OK thanks. … HR don’t hire them, their education is outdated.
I don’t understand this meme, or it’s not relevant. I mean it’s not like Alphabet’s G is saying they won’t record your activity. They even say that others can see your activity, but it won’t be saved locally with incognito.

I initially only installed “Comodo Firewall” but for some reason they also installed a “Comodo Dragon Browser”, which I did not consent to. To each their own. But IMO, iPhones are nice. The navigation via swiping is cool. The Android navigation is killing me. That’s a reason I’m considering going back to iPhone. I mean the iPhone just has nicer swipe animation. And this is coming from someone that had android for a long time prior to iPhone 7.
However, the iPhone’s texting is done through Apple’s own network. Which is good or bad depending how you look at it. So while the color is not the issue for me, the color tells me if it’s going through network provider or through Apple’s own network.
I also like that iPhone has a visual voicemail for free. It also goes through Apple’s network. Again, this is good or bad depending how you look at it.
Finally, I’m currently using an Android phone. I just don’t like Apple’s removal of fingerprint sensor. Miss the days where we had tons of phones to select from each with their own unique features.
They got rid of the Dislike button. Fine. They changed the Homepage to 2 ginormous thumbnails per row. WTF are they thinking? Hey ya’ll I have a quick question. So I was thanking content creators make content for the hope to get revenue of some sort. I mean there’s got to be some incentive. YouTube is taking things a bit far with multiple unskipable ads. I wish for the old old YouTube. Or maybe competitors. But how can we hope to do that when you need to have an incentive for content creators. Question based on my curiosity not a content creator myself.
I’m gonna go with #2 very high likely chance. Also, they didn’t mentione what they think that, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the other person tells your neighbor about the conversations. Meaning you think your conversations are one to one, but maybe the other party shares with your neighbor.
Anyone know minimum requirements to run Ubuntu. The main flavor as well as any other you want to share. Also, suggest any other distrio for a 15 year old laptop. Thanks.
anyone wondering on update on this. So I install Ubuntu. As you guys know, it is 64 bit only. I was 50/50 expecting it to fail. It installed fine. I checked the specs. Intel i3 2.2GHz 8GB and 64 bit architecture. I just couldn't remember if it was Intel 64 bit or not. Anyway, it installed fine.
I installed an ssd. It wasn't a slow machine, but it wasn't anything impressive. Also, the internal fan is always running a little bit fast. It's not a quiet machine is what I'm saying.
However, I did not like that I was forced to snapd. I tried to remove it, and played with Ubuntu a bit. After an hour so I came back to re-read comments on other suggested distros. In looked up install arch on YouTube. I saw that I could use archinstall so I did. Currently looking at what desktop environment I should use.
I'm not a Linux noob. I just didn't know the Ubuntu requirements. And also, I've been comfortably been using Fedora in my main desktop. I just wanted something different on this old old laptop. Thank you all for the comments. And specially for the recommendation give.
