recently I bought a Chromebook, I love it so much, it has Linux container enabled and I downloaded Firefox, GIMP, and Krita, but my Chromebook is only 64GB, so that can be a lot!!! So what web apps or low storage alternatives can I use?? I know Photopea, but what about drawing? Thank you!!
give azpainter a try, it’s what i used to use for drawing with a 2007 dual core laptop until not too long ago
heads up, the ui is kind of a mess, you most likely will have to re arrange it to your liking and there is a bit of a learning curve there, but it’s a pretty powerful piece of drawing/painting software nonetheless
when i was little there was this weird, really really basic castaway village sim kind of game with a cartoony art style and i spent HOURS playing that shit. i wish i remembered the name.
no wasn’t that one, i’m talking about a crappy mobile java game
but now that you mentioned sims 2 castaway tho i’m legally obligated to mention it’s my favorite sims game (at least the ps2 version), it’s so weird compared to the rest of the series
Thank you so much, comrades! I am feeling pretty comfortable with linux mint, and now would like some suggestions for some absolutely necessary FOSS or free license software for the OS. So far I have the standard, Firefox, ThunderBird, LibreOffice, yada yada. Thank you again to everyone on the linux comm! sankara-salute
I’ve been trying to connect qbittorrent to my local i2pd node for the last 30 minutes and for the life of me I cannot get it to work, even though other services work via SAM in the same port. Everything just times out.
To add some extra context to the other comment, the guy is a raging bigot.
There’s a well known post of his where he repeatedly and intentionally deadnames and misgenders Danielle Fore from elementaryOS, just from the top of my head.
my brother in christ, who told you my comment was directed at you personally
wait, actually? even if it was, imagine thinking anything that comes from Bryan “Nerds Are The Real Oppressed Class, Actually” Lunduke is worth talking about, lmao
I would like to know what your hoppy coding project are. It doesn’t really have to serve a purpose, but what are you coding on in your free time that just is fun to you and you enjoy working on?...
there was a fedi shitstorm recently RE: centralized blocklists so I tried my hand at a web service that would facilitate aggregating and sharing these lists in a decentralized and dynamic fashion and so far I like how it’s coming along
oooo here’s my latest one about… uhh, let’s say offensive security against crawlers.
my home is built using Leptos, i write my posts in Org and then convert them to HTML with orgize at compile time. i should write a post about that because i’m pretty proud of how it turned out <3
as for infra i have all my stuff on a vps from a local provider. i mostly do docker containers behind Caddy which i LOVE because it makes everything so simple, including certificate management and automatic renewal.

ah crap, sorry to hear that. i bet it’s games with EAC.
i don’t recall the last time i had issues with a game, but then again i don’t play the kinds of games that might require EAC and also don’t have an nvidia gpu.

What do you think would be an actually good use of blockchain/smart contracts? What kind of problems (big or small) is it a good tool for?
