I’ll take economic and ecological collapse over trench warfare any day of the week. I get to type this critique in air conditioning, while those dudes drowned in shell crater cesspools just trying to take a shit.
Not to discount how horrible our future will be. At least compared to what our ancestors went though, we’ve got it good.

Normally am this way too. Underrail is so difficult at times it makes you use your resources. On a first or second playthrough I routinely used limited consumables and it felt like I was just barely making it.
This subsides a bit once you know the game. But even once resources become more available an emp grenade/ adrenaline shot will turn the tide of fights.
I’ve realized that lately, I’ve been watching a lot of them police bodycam videos on YouTube. It always makes me feel a little better about myself and some of the bad decisions I’ve made in life. I’m known to cave into bad impulses like bad spending and taking financial risks....
Dad was a boozer so have yet to drink. Helps with enjoying monotony on weekends.
Use to watch /r/tooktoomuch and /r/crazyfuckingvideos for the reasons you’re describing. Perspective and understanding that life could always be much worse helps tremdously.
People get dogs because they want something that loves them unconditionally despite their shortcomings. I hear people say cats are “too independent” or getting recommended a dog despite not having the time to train and care for it. Most people are horrible pet owners out of sheer laziness.
If anything it shows how fucked priorities are for the person.
Your experience speaks to something more should voice.
I remember watching speedruns on YouTube back in the day. Very tight nit Community based on playing the same game over and over again as fast as possible. While watching the streams, you could tell the community had a higher than average autistic population.
As time went on more and more of them became Trans. It never made sense to me how an already niche community would then have such a high population of Trans members unless something else was going on. People seeking identity and not knowing better/ wanting to latch onto things they see online or around them.
This is not to discount Trans people or their struggles of course, too often I feel the vocal minority ruins it for the ones just trying to live their lives. 🤷♂️
Fair enough. 100% convinced no bs. Work in Healthcare and have had bad experiences with big bitch nurses. Should not allow that to taint view of all the genuine big bitches out there.
No better than a racist doing that.
Had a rude obese nurse get up from a chair and her FUPA was exposed. Would this be similar to if someone flashed their dick to a coworker?
Lol that is too funny. The male lived on the streets for too long. The tortie was a baby when we got her so she’s always been jn the little sister role.
My days on the Opie and Anthony reddit has given me good tone reading.
Fun racism and non fun racism. If it’s ugly in tone they’re racist. Remember Patrice or maybe Louis ck joking about how “jew” is both the normal term for Jewish people and the slur depending on the tone of how you say it. Reminds me of that but harder to tell with text.
HP wants you to print things through its cloud service, wherein you pay a subscription fee for ink and your usage is routed through its servers. To encourage you to do this, it covers the USB port …
I work at a retirement place doing tech. Have had 3 hp printers shit the bed exclusively because of software in the 6 months I’ve been there. Hp smart is so bad.
Such a shitty company. As most of these people are former professionals they get an hp because they used it at work then get talked into the subscription ink because they aren’t 21st century tech savvy.
One printer stopped printing because they did not have the subscription ink. They placed a normal ink cartridge in with a subscription one and the software would not allow printing because it recognized non subscription ink. Disgusting.
So many companies want to enter this subscription hellscape.
