Good, fuck her, cunt.

On another topic, while I’m straight, if I were gay, I don’t think I’m prepared to date, let alone marry, someone with the same first name as me. Being gay is perfectly normal, marrying someone with the same first name as you isn’t. No judgement though, just don’t think I’m cut out for it.

I think it’s higher than a half dozen. I’m looking for the article I read yesterday, but I do know it was 7 leaks in like February this year.

Edit: There’s been 12 total, the latest being this week, and the one before being end of August.
The article: nichegamer.com/war-thunder-player-spreads-restric…
The Wiki:
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_Thunder#History
If you scroll down to the leaks section it lists them all out.

Yeah, I found the article, and edited my comment with the link to the article and the wiki.

It’s just mind boggling that these people have access to this information at all. Kinda feel like having a war thunder account should bar you from access to classified information at this point.

I don’t speak German, so I used Google Translate. Are you sure the water is entering through the stonework? It may be entering from further up the wall through a crack in the stucco, or the stucco was improperly installed. There should be a piece of flashing over the stone, but under the stucco. To install over the stone and stucco I would recommend drilling pilot holes and using plastic wall anchors and screws to fix the flashing to the wall, with silicone in the holes, around the heads of the screws if you can’t find outdoor rated flashing screws that have a rubber gromit below the head to make the hole weatherproof. Then run a liberal bead of silicon along the whole top edge of the flashing and in every joint of it. Good luck! 👍

Poor translation:

Fun or no,you want the best seal you can get. Maybe an outdoor rated epoxy might be better?
Edit: scratch the epoxy, you need the elastic properties of silicon or the like, as the metal flashing has a different expansion profile than the stucco.

Spenglerschrauben is exactly what I was talking about!

Mexican/Southwest US stone tool. I think it might be for cooking? (lemmy.world)

I had originally posted this to Reddit but the mods removed it and suggested I take it to a rock and minerals subreddit… which was infuriating. Anyways, this came in a collection of other Mexican arts and pottery. I have not found anything exactly like it online. I actually have a pair of them. I thought it might be for...

You can see on the rim the different wear patterns where maybe they were grinding too much at the side. If that’s not a hand mill I’m not a Stone Mason.

How to demonstrate to people the importance of privacy by showing the data collected about them?

I wish to convince my friends and family to avoid using privacy-invading ad-based services and apps. Seeing people discuss how much data these companies collect off of us, I want to know if there is a way you could get a sample of that data by yourself and show it to them for them to realize the gravity of the situation...

I actually just read it about 25mins ago. And yeah, there’s a lot missing for it to be considered feature complete. That said, it might still be worth it.
Gonna wait and see if anyone chimes in with hands on experience. Might still buy one, and just hope the surface kernel matures a bit more in the coming months.

Edit: I’ve just had a second(proper) look at the feature matrix, and for the Pro 4 and 5, everything actually seems to be working. So maybe I’ll just pull the trigger while my wife’s out of town!

SturgiesYrFase,
@SturgiesYrFase@lemmy.ml avatar

So would you say more or less fiddling about than with a regular laptop/desktop install(barring the additional need for the surface kernel install)?

I’m fine with extra fiddling about, that’s part of the fun, but if it’s not really functional at the end of the fiddling then that’s not so fun.
The ones I was looking at didn’t come with the stylus, so that’s a hurdle to jump at a later date.

SturgiesYrFase,

Sweeeeet! Yeah, I’ve found a good deal on a pro 4, just negotiating with the seller.
Thanks for your input my dude!

SturgiesYrFase,
@SturgiesYrFase@lemmy.ml avatar

I’ll be making a post in a week or so to talk about my experience with it.

Also, pierogi fucking rock.

SturgiesYrFase,
@SturgiesYrFase@lemmy.ml avatar

Yeah, the gimped BIOS is certainly not a selling point. But for my use case, I don’t feel like it’s a deal breaker. I’ll be using it for light emulation gaming, and for tracking my self hosted bits. Maybe scrolling lemmy. Possibly distro hopping for the first week or two.
It’s essentially going to be a toy.

SturgiesYrFase,
@SturgiesYrFase@lemmy.ml avatar

Ah, but I got a surface pro 4 i5, 8gb, for £90. With keycase and charger. I was looking at a pinetab 2, but it would have run me a bit more than that…

SturgiesYrFase,
@SturgiesYrFase@lemmy.ml avatar

I had looked at getting an X12, but at the end of the day, I found a good deal on a SP4 i5 8gb/128gb.

SturgiesYrFase,
@SturgiesYrFase@lemmy.ml avatar

🤣🤣🤣…😅😅😅😅…😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Too late now, my SP4 arrives today. If the Linux experience is really really bad I’ll just reinstall a stripped down Windows 10.

SturgiesYrFase,
@SturgiesYrFase@lemmy.ml avatar

I’m so confused right now. Basically no one is sitting in the middle ground in this thread… Either I’ve made a horrible decision, wasted £90, and I’ve set myself for a load of pain with no reward at the end, or basically the exact opposite…

SturgiesYrFase,
@SturgiesYrFase@lemmy.ml avatar

Thanks bud, much appreciated 👍

I’m no longbeard wizard, but I’ve gone through the manual arch setup a few times, and done my fair share of distro hopping. I think I’ll be able to run through this without too much issue. Just not sure who to believe, or if it really boils down to luck of the hardware draw.

In any case, I’m looking forward to playing around with my new toy, and hopefully it’ll work how I want it to.

Might shoot you a dm and pick your brain if I get stuck.
