I found this old software on a medium I don’t recognize at my church. Does anyone know if this has value to anybody? https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/2f12f213-08e0-4caf-9fb4-9a5960e12133.jpeg this
All these shit posts are fun, but why is connect a red haired step child all the time? Any legit arguments against it? Has room for improvement, but it’s the best I’ve found thus far.
Many of us happily pay add removal fees on apps, but few of us pay $20. It stands out as excessive, especially in a very competitive arena like Lemmy apps where lots of good options have emerged.
Dude, there are literally boxes that say “sponsored content” I find those annoying enough, but you don’t think those are going to switch to ads soon? I’ve always wondered who bought those houses on the California cliffs that were definitely going to erode into the ocean at some point. I’m getting a better idea.
Even if you don’t find it intrusive, it is. Ads are incredibly powerful, that’s why they pay good money to get them in front of you through any means possible.
A month from now you are going to look around and think to yourself, “damn, why did I buy so much of this sponsored content? I don’t need this much sponsored content”
Damn. I left ios after iPhone 4 or 5, one of the reasons was that jail breaking was becoming nearly impossible and Android felt kind of like it was already jailbroken. I assumed it was a dead art by now. Is it still easy to do or a constant game of complex catchup?
I have attention issues to and I can spend an entire day bouncing between two minute distractions. A list with three things that need to get done that day is what works for me. Sounds short, you can always do extras after, but having that list makes sure at least three things get done.
What are some good alternatives? I really, really like cheese stuffed crust, but if I can get it without apparently supporting Nestlé, that’d be even better.
I’m just pissed I didn’t think of this myself as a custom keyboard layout. Guess I would have then been pissed that someone else commercialized my concept.
Looks like I need an attitude adjustment.
Rubbermaid plastic containers microwave brilliantly and have steam escapes but prevent splashing and they are the same things used to store in the fridge so there’s no transfering involved. I don’t find that they get all that hot either.
It’s a terrible practice and ultimately hurts workers. It should be banned simply because it promotes worker tax evasion, which is not what I really care about here, but it’s a good reason to make it illegal. Making it illegal is only way to stop it in the US. It’s absolutely rampant. You pick up donuts At the dunkin store and they ask for a tip now.
The first and the last bullets are never going to change sadly. Tipping is only on the increase, guns are just like an inherent part of America now - kids are getting slaughtered by them daily and it’s just like normal. Gun control is a laughable proposal in the US. If it hasn’t changed with all the reasons to change, it’s not going to. SUVs are actually becoming MORE popular. Healthcare is fucked.
That has an established history of being an unsuccessful endeavor. Help me out here and I’ll scan in some rare art history texts that you might not have in your database.

Yeah, but that’s the shame. Ntfs been around for decades, would be great for usb as it allows faster transfer speeds and more secure. Would have been nice if more devices included it so it wasn’t such a compatibility barrier.
Anyone know what this is? (lemmy.world)
