I wish Biden would intensify efforts to raise the minimum wage, or intensify efforts to slow or stop housing scarcity, or intensify efforts to ban AR-15’s (which he could accomplish himself if he wanted), but no, he’s intensifying efforts to dump more of our money into another country’s war.

They’ve been out for 40 years.

It’s why the minimum wage has been 7 bucks for 15 years and our housing supply is being bought up by venture capitalists to generate an artificial scarcity, and the big priority isn’t our people, it’s finding excuses to dump more public money into another country’s war.

Yeah, these are the usual excuses we hear, but I can look just to the north of us and see Canada, with universal health care, spending a mere 26 billion a year.

At the end of the day, enough of us support our own impoverishment, so it’s never going to change.

All she had to do was apologize, say it was a misunderstanding, and walk she and her poor dog away. She could have just stood still and asked politely to be left alone. She could have given a good ol’ New York “PISS AWWFFF”.

She had a lot of options.

I understand maybe being a little startled in the moment, but she absolutely owns the reaction. Any reasonable person should have realized once the phone was pulled out to film the interaction that maybe it was time to chill.
