Bit of a late reply: My sister got upset with me because I don’t watch the news so I can’t be angry and scared with her, while she does and also doom-scrolls, which I keep telling her to stop doing because it’s bad for her health to be so stressed out, and she has enough to be stressed about with how badly behaved my nephews are.
Internet isn’t negotiable because I do have to be able to work from home. The skulldog is cute and would be nice but not an absolute necessity like the internet.

I’d probably have to go through the long process of transitioning back as well as all the financial, legal, and medical problems associated with it, which would probably include immigration to a place where it’s easier.
At the very least I am androgynous so it probably wouldn’t take as long for me to get back to at least close to how I am but it would still suck.
That’s an optimistic outlook by the way, I’m not going to discuss pessimistic/realistic because it’s sad, unpleasant, and may trigger people.
That is true I’m only saying it’s not needed to like feminine clothes or that liking feminine clothes doesn’t automatically make someone trans (only identifying as trans makes someone trans), I know a lot of Femboys who enjoy it while still identifying as male (myself included).

That’s good, I’ve usually found the flat ones made with sheet metal are weaker and more bendable than ones made from steel wire, or just using the small sized paper clips. Which is problematic because I like to keep them in my bag in case I need to use them and if they end up bent up it’s not great.
I think the reason the ones I’ve gotten fared so poorly is because they’re aluminium as opposed to steel like the paper clips. Which always fair better in my bag than the flat stamped ones do.

What’s often left out is people are uninstalling terrible ad blockers and installing better ones. The terrible ones allow certain ads (from advertisers who pay to get through) or even inject their own ads.
Some disinformative articles are trying to use that to claim that because people are uninstalling [insert bad scammy adblocker name] that people are uninstalling adblockers altogether.
I think it’s meant for people who currently use ABP, uBlock, or one of the other countless bad ones as opposed to the far superior uBlock Origin, or Adnauseam.

I don’t really do map rooms in singleplayer since I tend to spread builds over a large area, larger than would be feasible to fit in a map room since I would have to fill in large areas I’m not using.

Mainly it’s because:
Chromium holds too much market share which is bad for the health of the Web.
Chromium is controlled by Google which is concerning because they have been known to plant trackers even in software that shouldn’t have them.
Chromium is inherently less secure, it contains features that might seem nice but are extremely risk to give access to websites i.e. letting websites access Bluetooth.
There are probably plenty more reasons but these are the big ones, and of coarse this is a simplification, in reality things are always a bit more complicated.

Don’t most laptops also have at least 1 M.2 slot in addition to SATA bay? I know it’s supposed to be for Wifi but you can use a USB wifi dongle (you could even wire it up internally if you wanted to) while still having an NGFF SSD for Linux and having Windows on the SATA bay (or vice versa, whichever you prefer).
Best to block windows updates, they usually always break things while offering little benefit. Though I never thought dual booting on the same Disk was ever a safe idea with Windows.
Well in that case it would be two M.2 slots, unless the laptop was without a servicable Wifi card it should have at least two, one for the SSD and one for Wifi. You do sacrifice built-in Wifi by using it for a small SSD but like I said you can get Wifi Dongles to gain the functionality back, even small flush ones the size of a mouse dongle.
The person was pointing out that some laptops only have a single SATA bay or M.2 slot for SSD, I was pointing out that if it doesn’t have a second dedicated SSD slot one might be able to use the Wifi Card slot for a second SSD. Though most laptops I’ve seen with M.2 usually have two of them on the board in addition to the Wifi slot.

Though I will say running a cracked or Offline server is much harder and requires more effort and using an Alternate Service like ely.by to authenticate users means it’s harder for people to join, so I know why most people aren’t committed to doing it. It’s either too much effort or way too limiting.
PolyMC is great, has easy access to Mods, Offline mode (No Account), and separates versions into separate .minecraft folders called instances, very useful if you want to load up and play older versions.
Only downside is some issues with Music Playing and World Icons not saving correctly.
In fairness that task would likely fall on server hosters and server software maintainers as Microsoft and Mojang only provide the Authentication services and Game Jar file repository. They have little incentive to provide more than the bare minimum since their primary concern is updating and maintaining the game itself, servers are a secondary concern to them.
